We had lunch here today. As the very nice Mr. said. Domenico we ended up in prison by chance. We chose the fixed menu. Everything excellent. Exceptional price for Sorrento. The people are super friendly, the guy that stands outside trying to bring people in is hilarious. The food is actually authentic like he says and the wine is delicious. If you sit at the bar you will get a story about every glass of wine you try. I also got tons of snacks for free while drinking, including cheese, prosciutto and olives. We just happened upon this restaurant while walking the side streets in Sorrento for a nice dinner. Mr. Domenico served a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was wonderful and we had many laughs! If you’re looking for a great place that is not a tourist trap head to this restaurant! We loved it so much we went back for dinner the next/our last night here! Bellissimo Price per person: €20–30

The owner enticed us in early in the evening, we promised to return and weren’t disappointed! We sat outside and were treated to the owner encouraging passers by in. I can only describe it as like being at a comedy night where the “victims” are the people sat next to you. As people went past they were the best friends of the owner who knew so many places, accents and languages unless they declined his offer to dine. He had hilarious remarks about each of them. It was harmless and in good fun but no one was spared his rapier wit. I recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy a live cabaret show as well as fantastic local Italian cuisine. Speisekarte ansehen
