the most authentic london cake, maic and liqueur outside londons. only recommended it harry redknapp, who said on TV that he could not find decent torte and maic in the Bournemouth/Poole area.

Great place for something different... and not just pies sold here. Took my kids and they had pasty A sausage roll with chips. Owner makes it all fresh on site and it was delicious. Took some of his chilled section home to have for tea another night. Highly recommend.

We went for Pie and Mash Fantastic! Home made pies using local ingredients....excellent mushy peas....nice cosy place with a few tables. Went back for the amazing Scotch Eggs and Pork pie.............The owner is a really top guy friendly and genuine and knows how...to make a decent pie! Excellent value. You need to try this!

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious steak pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meal was one of the best I have ever had, with generous portions of juicy steak and flavorful gravy. The restaurant has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, and I will definitely be returning. I recently tried a Vegan Cornish Pasty at a restaurant near Pokesdown train station. The owner was friendly and also offered a choice of soy and root vegetable cake or a pig-less pie, all vegan. The pastries were very fresh and delicious, with a moist soy, onion, and potato filling served hot in a paper bag. They were very filling and a great value at £2.75. There is a small seating area if you want to eat there, but you can also take the cakes home to enjoy later.
