What a nice surprise!!!! plancha of divine fish has a price defiant all competition! family meals, arrived at 2pm and a lovely welcome. fresh fish, giant gambas, tasty seiche, delicious mid-cuit tuna, homemade fries and a simple and delicious dessert. frankly to do and redo. There are many places to have lunch in Beziers we stumbled on this excellent restaurant in the main square. The staff are patient deciphering attempts at French but they also speak English. They were very helpful navigating the menu also. The set meal of the day is slightly cheaper than competitors and was really good. The salads are very large and very good quality. This is what holidays are about. Brilliant.

We arrived at the restaurant before it was too busy. However, the food did not live up to our expectations. We ordered two children’s menus; one steak haché and one pizza. The pizza looked like a tortilla from the local store with a poor tomato sauce and some cheese. Even at the favorable price of just 7€, it was not worth the cost. For the adults we ordered pasta carbonara, lamb and an entrecôte steak. The meat was well-prepared, however the pasta was quite dull. In general the food was tasteless, and though the staff was nice, they seemed a little too focused on finishing up our table so that the next group of people could be seated.
