"We tried to book but app didn’t confirm booking. Maybe that was a red flag. Diana walk in and no issues there loads of spare tables. Order 2 main courses and 2 starters to come out all together. Told no problem easy to do. First off staff are great. Very friendly. From ordering the food it took 40 minutes to arrive. Main courses came out followed shortly after by the two starter meals as my wife couldn’t manage a full meal. That bit they did right. Unfortunately the two starters were stone cold as they had been stood while they cooked the 2 main courses. One was the bbq chicken pieces (cold) the other was cheesy potato skins (cold) they were awful. So cold the cheese skins could be picked up in one lump. Returned to bar they said no issue new ones will be cooked. These arrived 20 minutes later and yes were hot. Problem was we have eaten ours so my wife had to eat hers alone. The cheesy skins were absolutely soaking in fat. They were disgusting. They offered free drinks for the 3 of us as consolation. Wouldn’t eat there again."

Really cheap during lunch time, 2 for 1 on mains make it good value. Good selections of unlimited soft drinks.

Breakfast was amazing with the all you can eat buffet. There was a lovely mixed choice of food with continental and cooked breakfast. We have been to many hotels and this was one of the best choices we have had.

Often come to the Monkey Puzzle with the family. We always have pleasant service with a smile and good quality generous servings. Great value for money and the Restaurant is looking really clean. Keep up the good work.

I come in on Thursday I see a young girl behind the bar looked like she was struggling behind the bar as there was a queue of people manager walked past mutitple times and never helped at all looks like needs new manager in charge Speisekarte ansehen

As far as a Brewers Fair go, this is by far the best. The food is good, but what makes it excellent is the staff. Chris, his staff and even his regulars made me feel so welcome. I love this place and every time I need to stay in the area, this will be my go to place. Well done guys, great job!!!

Absolute joke, ordered at 18:40, still waiting for food at 20:10. When the food eventually came out it was disgusting…how can you mess up a burger…dry as old boots, clearly been sitting under a warmer, chips were cooked in old oil and tasted disgusting. Nachos brought out instead of chips…when we told the waiter he said he’ll bring some chips out but never did !! Badly run..understaffed, don’t come here, so much better places to go in the area. Won’t be returning
