"After searching for a pub that was still open, we stumbled upon a restaurant with a 4.9 Google rating. Despite its unassuming exterior, the place was packed and we were lucky to snag the last table. We ordered the 3 Meat Dinner, which came with delicious homemade hash and a generous portion of veggies and gravy. The desserts were traditional and satisfying, made with care like your grandma used to make. We left five hours later, thoroughly satisfied with our £33 meal. Definitely worth a try."

"The menu at Taste Buds Wakefield may not be extensive, and if you're looking for a hot cooked meal, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for a delicious bacon or sausage butty, a toasted panini, or some amazing baked treats, then this is definitely worth a visit. The staff, two lovely ladies, were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our visit was memorable. They took great care of us from start to finish. Even my picky niece was pleased with her deconstructed bacon, sausage, and egg sandwich. My cheese and pickle sandwich was pre-packed, which was a bit disappointing, but everything else, including the coffee, was excellent. I'm sure we'll be back soon to indulge in those delicious brownies."

"I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times now, but on my last three visits, I have been very disappointed. One of the workers assured me that the curry I was buying for myself and my daughter was mild, but when I got home and tried it, it was actually extremely hot. The following week, I mentioned this to the same worker, who insisted that all their curries are mild now. She suggested a different curry that she said was mild, but it turned out to be just as spicy. The last curry was so hot that we couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing it away. From now on, I will not be ordering from this restaurant unless they can provide accurate information about the spiciness levels of their curries. Additionally, I was never offered a discount for the inconvenience."

"We have visited Robatary on many occasions and it’s never provided us with anything other than a great experience. The staff are really friendly and are always on hand to assist you. The menu offers a wide range of both small plates as well as larger main meals. On our most recent visit, we ordered; (small plates) duck pancakes, duck fried gyozas, (large plates) katsu chicken curry and crispy chilli beef. The duck pancakes came with a hoisin dipping sauce and were really flavoursome. With the gyozas, you actually get a choice of whether you want them deep fried or steamed and a choice of two different dipping sauces as well. We opted for deep fried with the miso sauce- I would highly recommend. The main dishes were also really tasty and well presented, the portions are huge as well! The only slight complaint I have is that the egg fried rice that the crispy chilli beef comes with, was a little too goopy on this visit, another minute or so and it would’ve been perfect. Other than that though, I really can’t complain and on top of that, they also have 25% off the whole menu between 5PM-7PM as part of their early bird special! This restaurant is well worth a visit, we will definitely be returning again soon."
