only back from a nice stay. hotel, staff, rooms, eating, everything was excellent. I loved it and would give more than five stars if I could.

Fabulous stay in this off the normal route town Rooms: Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Comfy beds and good shower. Nearby activities: Fabulous roads for biking. A great place to stay. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was nice comfortable and the bathroom with a walk-in shower was nice too. They offer a very good choice of vegan dishes on a dedicated menu and Amy was extremely helpful in making sure everything was right for us. All the staff were polite, respectful and always happy to help. Thank you very much. What a great place, a traditionally run hotel, so much better than the corporates and excellent value with a proper breakfast included, all the staff were first class as was the dining, they must be doing something right as the restaurant was full on a Monday night. I travel around the country for 4 months of the year, staying a couple of nights in each hotel and it was really nice to stay in this very welcoming establishment, my dog loved it as well Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

we were there for nights during the galloway country fair. what a nice hotel. we were in a small room on the top floor, not the largest space in the world, but the use of the room was exceptional and they even managed to in a luxury and separate shower in the en-suite. molton brown rugged and monogramed hand towels added that extra bit luxus. we ate both nights in the restaurant and were more than enthusiastic about the food in the offer. excellent eating, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. we are coming back to the final.
