"This is my 'go-to ' cafe/coffee shop in Marlborough. I 'm even prepared to queue in the rain for a table, it 's that good! The coffee is superb, the cakes divine and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. It’s nearly always busy so, at times, service can take a little longer. The staff are great and do their best to keep up with demand. If you’re in Marlborough and want somewhere great to have breakfast, brunch (dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings) or coffee and cake, this is the place."

We had delicious brioche French toast with bacon and maple syrup -a winner! Fabulous fresh squeezed orange juice and great cappuccino. We will come again!

Very busy cafe with a queue outside on a Sunday morning so be sure to arrive early! Lots of tasty options and highly recommend the Turkish eggs! Space for a baby and very friendly staff. A must visit Speisekarte ansehen

I love Bunces. The food is incredible and worth the wait if there's a queue. Lovely staff and so many great drinks and dishes to choose from. Want to come back soon for dinner. Thanks Bunces! Always a pleasure!

Absolutely faultless brunch — very much looking forward to trying the menu again. Slightly let down by chaotic ambience front of house and a bizarrely unkempt loo with seat hanging off. Incongruous with the superb food but wouldn't deter a future visit.

Our group of seven was seated in a cozy private room for tea and cake. The cake was incredibly delicious, moist, and the portions were generous. Our server, Evie, was efficient, sweet, and brought smiles to our faces. This restaurant definitely deserves its high ratings and we will definitely be returning! Speisekarte ansehen

Such a cute place, don't worry if there's no seating downstairs there's more upstairs, so don't look through the window and walk on. Lovely atmosphere, very warm and welcoming. The menu is really nice as well, a little bit different, reading it makes your mouth water. Service was good, they were really busy. Everything was really nice, enjoyed it a lot and will be back

I called three times to inquire about booking lunch, but no one answered. Despite expecting a wait, we stood next to the counter for five minutes without any acknowledgment. It was clear that the restaurant was severely understaffed. I received a Facebook message response at 4 pm. Although I have enjoyed great food here in the past, we will be going back to the Food Gallery.

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
