Burnt Truffle - Speisekarte

Enjoyed a really excellent meal at Burnt Truffle last night. We were warmly and efficiently greeted by Charlotte who supervised and was on hand for all tables through the evening. The staff were friendly and very good. The food was outstanding. Its always been good, but last night was superb. Thank you

The best place to eat in West Wirral by a long shot. The children's menu was absolutely fantastic value, and the quality of everything served consistently excellent. We sat outside to save other customers from sitting near our young children, but the food and service was so good that we were all as good as gold!

This was our second occasion at the Burn Truffle. As the first time the food was excellent and the staff awesome. we had a late seating but never felt rushed even when we were amongst the last to leave. Perfect birthday meal for my mother in law, super food and offer 2 course or 3 course options. Tracy served us and went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, perfectly served and tasted delicious. My favourite as always the HUGE creme brûlée. Will be back to celebrate more family occasions.

If you haven't tried this restaurant your missing out. Heswall is full of places to eat but this is far the best within Heswall for food and service. Each dish is paired with wine to compliment your food. Very knowledgeable manager on his recommendations of wine and food. Will definitely be returning very soon. The Bistro lunch deal is extremely good value for money. £15 for two courses.

From start to finish, our visit was fantastic. Greeted warmly, shown to our table promptly with menus, food brought over at the perfect time at the right temperature, everything we tasted was exquisite. All 4 of us enjoyed our visit, having the turkey with accompaniments, plaice, and Christmas pudding (loaded with delicious fruits and brandy! . Pretty good wine list too. Early evening Friday, could be bothered cooking. We both had the lamb arancini special and the chicken schnitzel. It was all excellent, as usual! The chef is brilliant at the mo, looking forward to seeing the new menu next week and our various christmas things we've got booked in. I was delighted to see Josie making a guest appearance. Am always amazed at the familiar faces that turn up at Gary's restaurants.

Sadly, on our last visit we felt put down by the obnoxious female server who was unbelievably arrogant. Obviously our custom was not valued, despite spending a considerable amount. We were so annoyed we’ve not returned and don’t know if we ever will. Very sad as it IS the best restaurant in Heswall for food and we loved it there. Attitude IS everything. Remember that. I’ve thought long and hard about posting this. The restaurant is often empty so have a think about it.

My husband and I had the most amazing meal at Burnt truffle. We started with the fish soup and then shared the aged sirloin which came with peppercorn sauce, the best Parmesan chips I have ever tasted and delicious carrots. We ordered a side of broccoli too which was cooked to perfection. We finished with a chessboard and the honeycomb ice cream. Every element of the meal was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. I am not a great meat eater but the sirloin was delicious. I have not tasted food as good. The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. There was a new manager who ensured our evening went to plan, he checked in on us and was really a pleasure to speak to. I could not recommend this... Speisekarte ansehen
