Cafe Continentale - Speisekarte

Having overindulged on fish over the last few days, I opted for the Caesar Salad. The best I have ever had. Julius would have been proud of it.

On a hot day in Trieste we needed a break; we where not very hungry just looking for somewhere to rest and utilize the wi-fi to download. Very Friendly staff, we had a fine light metal and WI-FI was excellent

ideal location in the center, we enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the cleaning of the rooms. delicious breakfast and exceptional dining room staff. parking with the hotel 300 mt on very comfortable foot. recommended!

I would look around for other cafes. Just ok. Food was expensive and I believe the poorest meal on our 3 week vacation through Europe. We stayed at this hotel and the breakfast was good so we thought we would try it for dinner. Should have kept looking.

If I could give no stars I would. 20 mins for drinks to come. Over cooked old fish which I only tasted before I gave up. My partners steak cooked so much it was tough as old boots when he ordered a medium rare. And the whole thing took so long it made it unbearable. Give this place a miss!

We had a quick lunch when we first arrived and the soup which was called Minestrone was actually quite thick as the vegetables had blended together. It was good tasting though and because it was cool outside it was very satisfying. The second time we went to the Cafe was for Desert after dinner because we were staying in the Hotel. The Tiramisu was tasty, but the coffee was cold..... We thought that maybe it was because we drank it after eating the tiramisu.......The next morning when we return for breakfast we had to cappuccino and they were cold too???? Otherwise breakfast was nice with a good selection of meat,cheese,fruit.....etc.

I had the unpleasant experience of being a customer at a restaurant, and I wasn't able to taste any of the dishes, all because of the manager. The menu seemed interesting, and after placing my order, I wanted to use the restroom. I was informed that I couldn't because it was out of order. So, I asked the manager where I could go to relieve myself and wash my hands since it's a hotel, they should have more than one restroom! . To my dismay, the manager arrogantly replied that he didn't know because that restroom was broken. He showed no interest in the customer and, in fact, was rude. It really infuriated me, so I asked him if that's how they treat their customers and if I should just relieve...
