The salmon and cream cheese baguette was revolting. I paid $18.95 for overly salty smoked salmon that was too tough to eat in some places.

The food is overpriced, bland and tasteless. The manager laughs at you if you complain. Altogether not a very welcoming or nice place to eat.

The service is quick and even though it is full, you can get a seat or table easily as people come and go. The portions are large and the food is good, Ideal for catching up with someone or a quick meeting throughout the day

Some of our friends met for lunch and chat. Food was good. We sat and talked for a long time without any disturbance. Staff are nice. Only criticism- it is quite dark inside,because the windows are high up, but it’s the building,not any fault of the shop.

Had jacket potato with chilli con carne. Potato was hot, but the chilli was straight out the chiller cabinet: had to take it back to be heated. And the chilli seemed to lack any actual chillis. Otherwise, quite good place. Staff energetic. But can only give it 3 stars for lack of proper service..

Bad ordering system. Signs in way of access to speak to staff to place pasta order. I aways get pushed in front of because of the set up. I go back for the food not for the service but will spend my money in Zabardast from now on. This time my pasta was so gluggy... I can cook better myself and I'm pretty useless in the kitchen!

These are two of the most friendly staff I have see in a long time. Very pleasant nothing was too much. I ordered a jacket with cheese and beans I was given options grated or melted. Food arrives quickly, very hot and plenty of cheese which is great as you rarely get enough. Restaurant was clean and tidy. If I am in the area I will visit again.

During our visit to Croydon, my wife and I struggled to find a lunch spot in the town center with many options. However, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant. They had a diverse menu, friendly service, and delicious food. We had a tough time deciding what to order from the enticing display of fresh dishes at the counter, but we were both satisfied with our choices and would definitely come back again.

The coffee was good and the staff were polite. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast. Although I understand that some elements may be fried, I had the garden breakfast and everything from the tomatoes to the haloumi was fried. While they tasted good, the overwhelming taste of oil left me feeling unwell. The toast was not fried, which was a relief. The portions were served on huge plates with not much food on them. The server tried to spread out the food best he could. The cost was £12, which I do not believe was value for money. Overall, I was not satisfied with the experience.
