Cafe Rouge Lakeside

Unfortunately, this restaurant is closed. We were surprised that OpenTable even allowed us to book and confirm a reservation. This completely ruined our plans for a work Christmas dinner.

Waited half an hour before any drink come out to us also first set of drinks were not made nice by bar man. Our other drinks were lovely as we requested somebody else to make them. Food once received was lovely n waiting staff were lovely.

loves this special caffe rouge! the personal is always beautiful and eating is always fab. we had the Sharing plate. nice, but with a little more choice. boiled to perfection and boiled in the main and desert sweet and the solid menu of steak and chips medium.

I'm very a Nandos lover! I have in essex to my nandos difrent nandos, the nandos in the sea is at a beautiful place that lives over the sea and up to nandos good standards, it is well decorated, the only problem is the 2 person tables are very close together in a long line.

great eating and a very nice place it did not start well. there were hardly customers so we were told to go and sit where we liked. for this wise no one waited for us 5 minutes, so I went and got my own menu, a waiter came by then and said it was table service with a little setting in his vote, so I said if it was table service, I would not get my own menu. from there, the service became better.

if I ever have a meeting in the opposite, I'll come here. eating and drinks are reliable and consistent. the service is hit and miss, most of the paints its good, but sometimes lacking any kind of attention. the last time I sat in the restaurant, I waited for 20 minutes to take my order (they were not busy, I think I was ignored, not good) this said it is a nice place with lateral sitting and a good vista.

I was here with my friend and he had a nice lunch. eating was really nice and delicious. the waiter was very polite and tried to help us when, we where unsafe, what kind of dessert we should order. he brought us a book from the kitchen to show us the desserts. the service was really good, no complaining at all. it is true that the service was somewhat slow, it took them about 30 minutes to bring us our food, but in my opinion it is normal when they are in a restaurant. they have to wait for you to eat naturally cooked, they are not the only one there and this is an important fact to remember other customers. you don't have to be rude to the waiting staff just because you have a bad day. the...

I would give this restaurant a zero if I could. My partner and I were celebrating our 7th anniversary at this restaurant. I received an email the day before confirming my reservation. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found it closed for maintenance. We were disappointed and frustrated to have wasted our time preparing and traveling there for nothing. There was no email or information on the website informing us of the closure. Google showed the restaurant as open when it was clearly closed. It was a confusing and frustrating experience.
