Caffi Pen Y Dref Cafe

Ordered two Welsh breakfast for both my wife and I and it didn’t disappoint. A must if your in the area. I was stuffed leaving and it set me up for the day

Fabulous cooked breakfast. Friendly staff and great value. Sausages were lovely : Fabulous value for money. If you want a traditional (Welsh breakfast so fancypants waffle etc this is perfect. I’d defo come back regularly

Lovely little cafe with friendly service. Really enjoyed our food and was great value. Family of 4 with drinks £26. One word of warning. They only take cash. But I’ve found in north wales it’s good to have both cash loose change/£1 with you.

I can confidently say that this café serves the best breakfast I have ever tasted. It's called "The Hangover" and for £6, you get bacon, sausage, black pudding, white pudding, beans, tomato, fried bread with egg on top, toast, and coffee or tea. Their other meals are also incredibly tasty. Best restaurant experience I've had.

This caffi and it’s staff are amazing! Nothing is too much for them and the quality of their food is fantastic. We live locally and discovered the caffi last year and boy what a find. We would recommend this caffi to anyone fab food, fab staff, and such good value for money! Keep up the good work girls we go every week now it’s our treat.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch, despite never having been before and not having high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the Beef curry and chips, while my wife had a large baked potato with Prawns. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Although it may be classified as a cafe, this place should not be underestimated.

We were led to this restaurant by a man named Pete, who we met at the campsite where we were staying. He only had one leg and was sitting outside when he spotted us. We enjoyed a drink and a scone with him, his son, and a friend of theirs. They introduced us to the friendly lady owner who made us feel like special guests. Despite arriving as strangers, we left feeling like friends. Pete was quite the character and we would return just to see him again. The scones were tasty and the milky coffee was also very good.

A bit disappointed as I stopped in for brunch today to be told that any food coming out of the kitchen would require at least an hour's wait. Obviously, it was good that this was flagged at the beginning and I had the choice to stay or go, but the place didn't look that busy with half the tables empty, so no idea why the wait would be so long. I elected to go, so can't comment on the food. For those visiting, be aware that there is limited on road parking with a 40 minute time constraint, but there is a paid car park behind the cafe.
