This place reminded me of the cafes when I was a kid in the 90‘s. Down to earth and the most amazing home cooked food. The Welsh breakfast was amazing, so so tasty.

Rude, loud, obnoxious staff and other 'diners ' (like the cast off squad, of a Jeremy Kyle show!!! Brought our breakfasts over (both ordered scrambled eggs on toast the rude woman who served me brought them, said to myself and my partner if your wondering why the eggs are a different colour...... Well, the reason is, I dunno

On a Sunday afternoon, this was our only option for tea and a scone. The tea (with milk added already) was served in mugs, no tea cup, no tea pot, no milk jar. I could have suspected this, as the interior of the café has the feeling of a toastie takeaway, with worn and torn fake leather seats. The staff did not know that I wanted to order tea scones on requesting a cream tea, but thought I wanted tea with cream in it. This café may be right if you like a mug of tea like you make at home with supermarket-bought cake, but if you like a tea pot, it's not your cup of tea.

We needed to use the nearest electric charger and so we thought we 'd find somewhere for a coffee or tea thank god for this place. The 'town ' itself is an absolute dump and a total passing through place. That said we found this little cafe and the staff were lovely. The tea was a simple tea bag and the coffee instant yet they somehow tasted far superior than expensive rubbish at chain coffee shops. It 's a shame we 'd already eaten because they had a good menu and we didn 't see a single plate with food left on it a great sign surely! Definitely give these guys a chance if your passing through need to be in town. Speisekarte ansehen
