"Escogimos aros de cebolla de entrada y no fue lo que esperaba. Las Cebollas no estaban nada crujientes y tenían mucha grasa. Nuestros platos principales fueron el Mrs. Striploin y la Hot Salsa Burguer, acompañado de pata asada con sauce cream. El filete estaba sumamente delicioso, jugoso y con mucho sabor. La patata tenía el punto de cocción perfecto y la salsa muy rica. La hamburguesa muy sabrosa. El pan muy suave, la carne jugosa y pesto nos sorprendió el paladar. De postre pedimos el Strudel de Manzana con salsa de Vainilla. No fue nada especial. La atención del personal y muy esmerada y el lugar muy aseado con las medidas covid correspondientes."

"The food here is very good indeed. Don't be put off by the modest appearance of the village bar that you walk through to get to the comfortable restaurant at the back, with outstanding views over the valley to the mountains. The food is really worth it. When we visited, there was no menu. The waitress/manager simply showed us the meats on offer (beef sirloin, chicken, lamb, goat) and, when we failed to understand the names of the two fish on offer, she brought glistening examples of each to our table (they turned out to be Bream and Bass). We were given a huge basket of delicious bread, olives, and aioli to start. All main dishes seem to come with potatoes and a simple salad, which suited us fine. We ordered lamb and were rewarded with an enormous platter of beautifully cooked chops (at least a dozen) on a bed of diced fried potatoes and roasted garlic and padron peppers. The local wines were good and very generously poured. We ordered coffees and brandies and the waitress/manager put down two glasses and left us the bottle. We had a modest tot each. And, when we paid the bill, she casually announced that the brandies were on the house. Nobody in the bar/restaurant seems to speak English. Please don't let that put you off buy a phrasebook and give it a go. The welcome is warm and the food simple but delicious. This is not fine dining but it IS the finest of honest village cooking and is served with warmth and generosity. Our excellent dinner with wine and brandy cost the same as a few lunchtime tapas in Palma the day before. If you happen to be in the village of Sa Cabaneta, seek this place out. You won't be disappointed."
