Carousel - Speisekarte

I went to London last Thanksgiving and everyone suggested I visit Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a large scale festival and amusement park with numerous attractions combined with a Christmas Market.

Fun, fun times complete with rigged carnival games and exorbitant prices! It's not quite my idea of a "Wonderland," but it certainly is pretty with all Speisekarte ansehen

We loved the evening and the food was delicious, the cod wing, the monkfish, the seaweed broth! Gilsli and the team were amazing, next stop a visit to Iceland.

The set lunch option is the best price/quality deal in central London. If you’re a client of mine, you’re not going anywhere else! I don’t know how they maintain the quality of the guest chefs, had so many incredible meals here.

Although we had a reservation for late lunch, once we arrived, it was clear to us that the kitchen would be closed in 30 minutes. The tasting menu was excellent, but some of the dishes were too salty. Overall experience was great, definitely recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

The ambience was pleasant, but I was slightly let down by the limited selection of only three wines per category at a wine bar; I was hoping for more options. The portions of food were small, and the hashbrowns were overly salty and greasy. However, the fried chicken and tuna taco were delicious. In general, I likely will not return to this restaurant.

Visited on Wednesday evening for their guest chef series. The atmosphere and service were excellent while the food was really exciting. We opted for the drinks pairing which was good value for the quality received. A few reviews state the amount of wine given is small but I didn’t find that at all. Had a very enjoyable experience which lasted around 3 hours.

Was really disappointed with Carousels food. I have been to many small sharing plate restaurants around London and New York and this was my least favourite. The decor and vibe of Carousel was really cool, and the service was great. The waitress even gave me tasters of various wines. However our bill was 94£ for bread, fried chicken 2 pieces) and scallops 3 for 24£ or something) the scallops were horrible- couldn’t even stomach one. Slimy and not a good texture in the mouth.
