What a gem of a venue. Lovely service. Fab food special touches. We all really enjoyed afternoon tea for my birthday. We were very well looked after. Thank You.

The food was fine, but the service very slow. A group of three with two teas and one coffee, the coffee had to be re-requested a couple of times before it arrived.

Lovely place. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was good. The only thing I would say service was a little slow. We asked for olives and nibbles and never brought to us. Speisekarte ansehen

Staff friendly. Very quiet. Large imposing room. Manor once owned by Laura Ashley. Food not great, we had the afternoon tea. Overpriced for the amount quality of food. £40 plus 10% service charge.

The food was good but the portion of potatoes was small, clearly encouraging customers to order extra. Service was not great, as the bartender forgot my order and charged me for a large gin instead of a small. Overall, the hotel has deteriorated and requires some investment.

Waited at least 40 mins for our food. My wife had the chicken supreme, the 'chicken ', was more like a wood pigeon! My pizza was okay though. We didnt feel it was vfm. Ambience/atmos wasn 't brilliant either. Overall, very disappointed; would not recommend, and will not be revisiting. Speisekarte ansehen

The dining room was very cold with no atmisphere at all. Unfortunately the smoked salmon in the sandwiches was not very good quality at all and the chicken sandwiches were quite overfilled and heavy. The best part of the afternoon tea was the lovely pastries. Overall it was very expensive.

We had an amazing afternoon tea experience for my husband's birthday. The gluten-free options were some of the best I've had, with delicious cakes and desserts. The service was friendly and relaxed, with no pressure. It was a wonderful afternoon with great views and an excellent price. I highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time overall at the restaurant. The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious. The only downside was that the terrace, although offering beautiful views, had garden furniture that needs attention. Most of the chairs were very rickety and didn't feel safe to sit on. Additionally, the service had a slow start as we waited half an hour with only water on the table. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return to the restaurant, but perhaps I'll bring an Allen key with me next time. Speisekarte ansehen
