The restaurant was lovingly restored by Wetherspoons and the interior is stunning. However, when it comes to the food, it's a different story. It's a bit hit or miss.

Nice clean place, friendly staff, had the breakfast here which is the same at these places, it’s a good meal for the price, the food is average tasting, plentiful quick service.

You know what you’re getting with any Spoons pub. The beer is cheap and the food is fast. Quite a lively crowd was in on two successive nights which speaks to its popularity in the town. Staff were friendly and the grub was good.

Chapel-an-Gansblydhen is a very picturesque pub located in Bodmin. We came on a weekday morning in November and were impressed by the service and interior of the pub. The only issue to be aware of is that front of the pub has large amount of steps before you get to the entrance.

Came here after picking our daughter up from a night out, so we went for breakfast. Staff very friendly. Covid social distancing really good. Food was really nice. Love the hand sanitised machine you don't need to touch it which is a good thing. Change your cups every time you want a refill. Thank you for breakfast. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped here at 5pm on a Tuesday evening for an early dinner. The place was surprisingly busy. We had the Burns night burgers, which were good, but all the food was a bit cold. We also sampled one of the special ciders that they had in. It was a bit of a shame that they couldn't provide any information on what they were like, e.g. dry or sweet.

I was on a coach tour of the area and stopped in at this establishment the staff were professional, quick to take my food and drink order the service was quick. The whole building has been converted in a way that still shows respect to the original chapel. The only small complaint about this witherspoons is that it is not wheelchair friendly after pushing the wheelchair in our party up the front ramp you need a few minutes rest.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday lunchtime and easily found seating upstairs. I must say, what a lovely clean pub! Compared to some others we had been to, the tables were clean and glasses were cleared away promptly. We were served by a very friendly and chatty lady who took our orders and engaged in friendly conversation with us. The food arrived very hot on hot plates, which was lovely. It was very tasty and excellent value. The duty manager, a guy with tattoos, was working very hard bringing food and clearing tables, and he had a very friendly manner.
