Charlie James Pie Mash

Was excited to try the Steak pie, Mash Gravy today it didn't disappoint at all. The mash was to die for can't wait to try the rest of the menu....

Just had takeaway and it was absolutely delicious! I had my fave cheese onion and hubby had the lamb crushed new spuds. Couldn’t fault it. Red hot. I’d describe it as having a home-cooked meal delivered!!!!!!!

We went for Fathers Day and we weren't disappointed. Excellent meal, roast beef pie was delicious and I don't like roast potatoes but theirs are devine with massive Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend it.

Visited today for lunch and what an amazing place! Chicken and bacon pie with buttery mash has never tasted so good! Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff too. Will definitely be back....I mean the milkshakes and wallings ice cream need to be sampled!

First visit today and won't be the last, was great! I had steak pie and the wife had the lamb and potato, both with mushy peas, I also had gravy. As it was my birthday, also treated ourselves to a Wallings dessert. The only minor gripe was that the barm was a brioche bun. We will certainly be back for more.

I took my wife out for a delicious meal at this restaurant, where we enjoyed the cake, buttermaque, and mushibsengravt. My steak pie was excellent, and my wife loved the chicken bacon. The portions were generous and the meal was satisfying with high quality ingredients. Thank you for a great dining experience!

Heard about this place for sometime. I got the opportunity to try it for myself tonight. I can see what the fuss is about! Private party, with impeccable waitress service , fantastic cold drinks served and a good choice of alcohol .....and the pies were amazing! I had chicken and bacon pie with skinny mash. Damn good it was too! I will be a returning customer

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend named Charlie James from work and was eager to give it a try. Finally, we went today and were not disappointed. The quality of the establishment is evident in the design of the restaurant, the takeaway containers, and most importantly, the food. Wow! The mashed potatoes and gravy were outstanding. The cake and pastries were delightful with a delicious filling. My chicken and speck dish was delicious, but my partner's lamb and mint with reduced gravy was out of this world. This place has now become our new favorite. Our waistlines may be in trouble!

Today, my son and I visited Charles James Pie and Mash and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the Sunday dinner, I had the beef and my son had the chicken. While we waited for our meal, I checked out the menu and was impressed by the variety of drinks available, including cocktails (unfortunately, I was driving). My son chose the Maltese milkshake, which looked and tasted amazing. Our meals arrived and were served with roasted carrots, potatoes, and two large Yorkshire puddings.
