It was ok, but steak was almost inedible. Service wasn’t great either. All in all a rather average lunch.

Unusually really poor service to the point that I won’t be returning again. Such a shame as this was my go to Bar in Kings Cross

So calm for central London. It’s a lovely place to eat drink and stay. The people who work there are always so polite and helpful. Building is spectacular.

Disappointed. Sandwiches were not fresh, they were cold and hard due to being refrigerated for sometime, tasteless too. Pastries were nice as were the scones. Furniture could do with an upgrade, looks a bit tired. I had tea here in the past, however based on this visit I'd get my afternoon tea elsewhere when in London. Sorry!

Afternoon tea for our daughter’s for a family party of began with some confusion over the booking. It appears that OpenTable bookings do not automatically mean“afternoon tea“, so though a phonecall the previous day to the restaurant had been made to check the arrangements it took a little while to sort a table. Nevertheless the staff made every effort to recover the situation and were friendly and helpful, even offering a complimentary glass of champagne to the guests. The choice of teas was wide, the sandwich fillings varied, as were the pastries, with contrasting and delicious flavours,textures and colours.
