A nice little restaurant serving typical French/Alsace food. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a good atmosphere as it is owned by a local artist. The food is good value for money and it is child friendly.

My daughter found this place and what a good choice she made. I had a German pork knuckle with sauerkraut, my daughter, the chicken cordon bleu. The desserts looked lovely and tempting, but the main course filled me up. Would highly recommend. Some staff speak...broken English.

Although I’d love to give this place a good review, I’d be dishonest to do so. Both the service and the food were subpar. There was one server-the owner- and although she was very nice, she couldn’t handle the entire dining room. The food took...forever to come out and the choucroute L’alsatien was very mediocre. I would not recommend this place.

Nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis plus de 10 ans , entre amis avant le spectacle du théâtre . Le cadre reste à l’identique , agréable .l’accueil est moyen mais nous avons la chance de croiser une partie des acteurs . Le service est correct assez rapide pour nous permettre d’assister au spectacle arrivée au restaurant à 18 h30 Depuis le changement de propriétaire nous sommes de plus en plus déçus : carte réduite , dégradation de la qualité la cuisine est t elle encore réalisée sur place ? plus de picon bière ni certains déserts . Propreté des toilettes insuffisante . C’est dommage .

In short, go elsewhere. Note: I am French, so know very well what good French cuisine should be like. Poor and slow service (only one person for tables, unfortunately often the case in small restaurants that seem reluctant to hire waitstaff: blame the...high taxes and the lady didn’t seem to enjoy her job and didn’t make any effort to welcome us etc. Very cold overall, probably in the wrong line of work.
