Two night stay. Food, very poor. Accommodation, very comfortable, but the place begun to look a bit tired. Needs some attention. Staff, absolutely brilliant, attentive and very friendly.

Great place. Highly recommend. We had the bed, breakfast 6-course tasting menu package. Room lovely, comfortable and clean, food delicious, booze tasty (micro brewery on site) staff brilliant. Some small personal touches too that made the stay a little bit extra special. Would go again.

This Sunday lunch could easily be the best I've ever had dining out. The meat was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of it, with delicious vegetables, toasties, and Yorkshire pudding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, the service and location both deserve a perfect score of 5.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and it must be good if we keep coming back! The food and service are both great. We enjoyed a midweek tasting package, and had ended up booking a special night with the meal jointly created with a guest chef from the Shibden Mill inn. The food and service was excellent and complimented by a nice wine list. We stayed overnight in Rose, which was very comfortable and spacious. All in all an excellent one night break and we will go back.

Went for a Sunday roast. Stunning location, a very charming village. The decor is a bit confused throughout, alternating from rustic and cosy to minimalist, cold wine-bar ascetic. Has its own in-house brewery, seemingly only serving here which is cool. Sunday roast fairly meh, barely roasted potatoes, a kilogram of over boiled cabbage and a mangle of fatty beer. The Yorkshire and carrots were good though.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We went for an early dinner on a bank holiday weekend. The hostess (Ramana? Apologies if that's wrong) was incredibly friendly, and all the staff were well-trained and attentive. The food was outstanding. We tried the A La Carte menu this time, but we are definitely going to try the 6-course tasting menu on our next visit. It was a very enjoyable meal.
