"Lugar muy bonito. Salón interior moderno y acogedor. Zona ajardinada ideal cuando hace buen tiempo. Pedimos los huevos rotos con foie y jamón ibérico, huevos rotos con trufa, ensalada con queso de cabra (espectacular) y costillas a baja temperatura com salsa barbacoa. De postre tiramisú. Todo de mucha calidad. Raciones generosas y a precio razonable. Local altamente recomendable. Pero lo mejor sin duda es la amabilidad y trato de los trabajadores. Son muy muy profesionales y amables. Volveremos."

"the deal is unbeatable on the part of the waiters as they are always waiting for the client so you don't have to be holding your hand or calling them every two for three. the food is also very rich and is famous for its cod of the cleft. the other day he was having breakfast and was gratifiedly surprised at how rich he was. It was a whole Catalan toast with all the bread. bread was crunchy and it was noticed that it was at least 70-80% integral and on the subject of ham were not short because there was abundance. Being a road bar/restaurant, I was hoping that I would be poorer for breakfast and I was fascinated. What a pity I don't have pictures, I'll try to get the next time I get back."

"Soliamos ir antes mucho porque era excepcional, ahora ha venido a menos de unos años acá, es cierto que los menus no están mal para comer, las tapas muy normalitas no son como las tipicas de esta zona, pero bueno para echarte algo a la boca. La barbacoa normalita, antes los platos eran mucho más abundantes ahora algo menos. Es ideal para ir con crios porque tiene un colchon al lado vigilado por un señor que se encarga de que los peques y los grandes no se mezclen o que no vaya a subirse un niño demasiado mayor, justo al lado de las mesas tiene un parque que los crios estan van y vienen y estas tranquilo por que los estas vigilando y los ves en todo momento. En invierno ponen el colchon en uno de los salones que tienen para que los crios puedan saltar y no pasar frio. Antes estaba siempre llenisimo ahora aunque hay gente no hay que esperar y siempre encuentras mesa, personal amable y educado. Tiene muy facil aparcamiento"

"I would encourage any admirer of Federico Lorca to come and visit his family homes, both now museums, in Fuente Vaqueros and Valderrubio. They are both situated a short drive west of the city of Granada which houses the most famous and accessible of the Lorca properties. Both museums are well worth a visit and both shut at lunchtime, around 2:00, which brings me to the restaurant. The restaurant is situated on the main road about half way between Fuente Vaqueros and Valderrubio. It is a proper asador specialising in roast meat. It is not a particularly fancy establishment and its main business comes from the local agricultural workers. If you go inside you will see the large spit used to roast the meat. There is a shaded outside area and on a hot day this is the obvious place to eat. Well, my wife and I have eaten here on three separate occasions and always left happy. It seems that a pig is roasted and chopped up into various bits and depending on what time you arrive, and the taste of the first to arrive, will determine what choice you have. I had a delicious rack of ribs the first time but they were off the menu when I arrived late the second and third time we came. There are other tasty rustic options such as rabbit in garlic oil as well as morcilla, chorizo etc. You can of course stop here for a drink and snack and although I mention the Lorca connection It's not much of a detour for those travelling to Granada from Malaga or Seville via the A92. It's great country food and wine at very affordable prices. Highly recommended."
