Reasonably good food at the very top of the mountain,nice friendly staff,outside on the deck in the sun or inside by the big fire when its cold,limited menu but not bad for the top of the mountain.

Always packed, food good, nice atmosphere. Children liked the sausage and chips. You might have to wait a while to be served in the busy lunch period but that's fine: just sit back and people watch.

Everyone has to find this place. It is in a great location looking out across the snowy slopes of Alpbach. The coffee and hot chocolate is to die for and the cakes are just.........Sublime! Every day on the way back from the pistes we come and eat cake. Speisekarte ansehen

Picturesque, lovely views. Great sun terrace with sheepskins and cushions for warmth and comfort, lovely fire inside. Good food, especially for kids, friendly service, although it can be slow when it's busy. Perfect for an afternoon hot chocolate in the sun.

Jeder muss diesen Ort finden. Es hat eine tolle Lage mit Blick auf die verschneiten Hänge von Alpbach. Der Kaffee und die heiße Schokolade sind einfach himmlisch und die Kuchen sind einfach großartig!!!! Jeden Tag auf dem Rückweg von der Piste kommen wir...und essen Kuchen.

I went up in the gondola to meet friends for lunch as I was not skiing. easy 2 min walk when you get up there. The food was fine but came in random intervals and the service was quite frankly hopeless. They know they are going to be busy at lunch time so they need to up their game and cope with demand. I have always liked this place as a ski lunch venue. Sometimes have to wait for a table but they turn around quickly. On a sunny day the terrace is the best! But this year I discovered the lasagne. Oh my! The lasagne. I almost don't want to tell you all about it for fear they might run out. It is amazing!

Mir gefiel dieser Ort schon immer als Ski-Lunch-Lokal. Manchmal muss man auf einen Tisch warten, dreht sich aber schnell um. An einem sonnigen Tag ist die Terrasse das Beste! Aber dieses Jahr habe ich die Lasagne für mich entdeckt. Oh mein! Die Lasagne. Ich möchte Ihnen fast ... nicht alles darüber erzählen, aus Angst, sie könnten ausgehen. Es ist erstaunlich!

The Dauerstoa Alm is situated next to the main gondola and at the height of the ski season it gets extremely busy at lunch time and this can affect the speed of service. The views, however, are spectacular and it's worth spending some time on the terrace to take it all in.We only had snacks at the restaurant including fries, pancakes and apple streudel but all the food was good. If you are in a hurry, I'd recommend getting a seat at the bar as service was always much quicker. Speisekarte ansehen
