Finally a cafe that stays open until 10 p.m. in Scotland! Good scones, cheesecakes and crumbles! Rather plentiful. Also salty

Had an okay meal only because our hotel couldn’t accommodate.anyway .beware of service charge .not happy getting £5 added when the bill is high enough .food wasn’t up to scratch either so wouldn’t recommend I’m afraid.which is a shame as lots of family local Speisekarte ansehen

Toasty was on shop bought bread , salad was fresh and homemade coleslaw was very nice . No chips , no crisps , on the side . Portion didnt even fill the plate , very over priced for what u got . Asked for diet coke and defo got full coke . Sitting area cold didn't even take of my coat . I have now been here a few times and each time I am surprised by how unfriendly staff are. It’s as if they don’t want to see customers. I bought some quiches, bread and croissants together with a latte, staff appear not thankful or bigger transactions. The latte was just warm not hot, presumably the milk had not been steamed for long enough. The bread and croissants were really soft because wrapped in plastic. The quiches were ok. The staff manners though are very poor.

Nice atmosphere, great service, and good food. Shame they didn’t have the Cullen skink, but we enjoyed our pizzas. Very tasty toppings. I do recommend this place! What ruined it a bit is the “discretional service charge”. It’s not discretional. It’s automatically added on the bill. I know places doing this argue that guests can ask it to be removed, but they know perfectly well that nobody would ask, because it feels very uncomfortable! It would only be discretional if it was a choice at payment, loads of card machines now have the option whether to include a service charge and at what percentage.
