"We first stayed at this hotel in July 2015. We thought then that the rooms were very small and poorly furnished. However, the evening meal we had then was very good. So, as we were passing this way again, we thought to give it a second go. Big mistake! We booked and agreed the extra charge for a ‘superior room’ in the hope that it would give us more space, that did not happen. The bedroom was even smaller, and as before, very cheaply furnished. It had a second small side room with a two-seater settee and a TV. Never mind, we thought, we were only staying one night and we had come mainly for dinner. The details said that staff spoke English but our waitress didn’t! This made choosing difficult so we went for the higher priced option of the two house suggested menus, which offered choices to three courses. The first course was smoked salmon which was very good and lots of it. Our second course was lamb, this was not so good! It was dry and over cooked, the vegetables were luke warm and tasteless, the chips were cold. We tried to eat some of the lamb but as it was served without any sauce or gravy, it was too dry to eat, so, unfortunately, we had to send it back. We were not offered a replacement. After our desert, which was fine, I spoke to the man who seemed to be in charge and explained why we sent the lamb back and said we were not upset, it was clear the chef had, had a bad day, but we required them to deduct the charge for the main course. We were happy to pay for the starter, desert and wine. I offered to pay half the total amount plus the wine, €54.50 from the total bill of €98. He would not accept this, saying it had been prepared and therefore we had to pay the full amount, a very strange argument. This conversation went on for some minutes, but as I was not prepared to pay the full amount he then said, “get your things from your room and go”. I said “are you telling me to leave the hotel”, he said “yes, go. You cannot stay here.” My wife and I went to the room, packed and then tried to leave. As we walked out, he and another man followed, still demanding we pay the full amount. A heated argument pursued by our car, he and the other man stopped my wife from getting into our car, but eventually, after I demanded they call the police, they accepted €50 as part payment and let us leave. I am 71, my wife 68. Trying to make us pay for food we could not eat, making us leave the hotel at 9 PM in mid-December when it was below freezing, stopping us getting into our car, arguing outside the hotel, in full view of other guests, is totally unacceptable. They have since charged my credit card the full room rental and the balance of the meal. So, we have now paid for the room and the meal in full even though we were made to leave and did not eat the whole meal. They think they can con us but we are reclaiming these charges back on our card, so they will not win in the end. Be warned they are not to be trusted!!!"

super ambiente tolles Essen und von der Wahl gibt es etwas von allem. die Preise sind demnach etwas auf der teuren Seite des Viertels, aber es lohnt sich, über die Mittagszeit zu schauen. Speisekarte ansehen

Ayant déjeuné ce midi sanglier à la broche nous avons été très bien accueillis, le personnel souriant , très professionnel au petit soin de la clientèle. Rien ne manquait , les serveuses venaient nous voir et nous demandaient si tout allait bien. Tout était parfait , le sanglier au top, et le fromage était très bon aussi. MERCI ET BRAVO Á TOUTE L'ÉQUIPE.

Pressekopf von lachs und Lotte, tolle Idee, die mit klar definierten Aromen beeindruckt. hauptgang roignon entkommen am stück in senfsauce ohne scheiter und perfekt. hier ist ein la carte, keine Menüs werden angeboten. weinkarte leider zu deutlich. Hier geht mehr. Lage der Ortschaft am Quai de koch zentral, ruhig, kleine Terrasse. auch zum Walzen geeignet.
