Not a bad pub, but it took ages for a glass wash to come and clear our table. Place was nearly empty by 10.30 on a Saturday night Price per person: £10–20 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I visited the Duke for the first time tonight, and I must say the service was exceptional and the food was cooked to perfection. There's really nothing more to add except that I look forward to coming back again!

I've dined here twice and couldn't be happier with both the food and the staff. Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Scampi Chips and Peas, Fish and Chips, and Dip.

Highly recommend this pub for food. We use this pub for a family lunch a couple of times a month, usually greeted by Stan. Wayne the chef is a brilliant chef and we always enjoy the food that he produces. Deb is fantastic and goes out of her way to make sure we have everything we need.
