"Cannot recommend this place enough! Went for breakfast, place had a great cozy vibe to it; wasn’t super crowded like some cafes in The Lanes. The staff were so friendly and accommodating I have to eat gluten free so had pretty much written off the idea of having decent breakfast options but I was so pleasantly surprised when I was told that all of the pancakes could be made gluten free! Have seen a few reviews complaining about the wait times but our food/drinks were delivered speedily. Food looked and tasted amazing Would definitely come back if ever in Brighton again!"

"what a great place to eat with amazing food and excellent service! first visit, but certainly not the last one for me and other half. as a big sushi fan I was always tired of the idea of the fusion and I was really trained on the beauty of the fusing kitchen. the food was really excellent and the aromes from this world . we are looking forward to our next visit! thanks to the teams of tropical sushi, which is super, friendly, welcoming and smiling."

"Visited yesterday having passed by in the past, due to prices being higher than cafes nearby. Big mistake a slightly higher price is definitely worth it for food that is fresh, has texture most of all flavour! In addition, we felt safe, tables clean clear of condiments host wore vizor. Looking forward to trying other dishes."

"We've had this place on our radar to try their Sunday Lunch for at least four years. Finally received an invitation . Certainly ticked all my boxes. Excellent service and an equally excellent choice of meals on offer. I had the pork belly, which was simply mouth wateringly good. Finished off my other half's beef, so I can vouch for that as well. The only negative was being too stuffed to try a pudding. Price per person: £20–30"

"One of my mates who lives in Hove Suggested meeting here for our last morning. It's a small spot on a secondary street with plenty of shops. There are a scattering of seats and tables outside- ask taken on or sunny morning visit- and a free tables by the front and more down some steps in a lower back room. We sat near the counter.Everything looked delicious but two of us decided on the veggie breakfast. It was delicious- mushrooms in tarragon butter, mini herb Rosti balls, beans, eggs, vegetarian sausages and toast. We had a pot of tea to wash it all down. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The staff are lovely too, very relaxed yet efficient at service. There was a great range of homemade cakes so I tried a citrus drizzle cake which was also very good. I would highly recommend a visit here for breakfast or even a mug of tea and a homemade sweet- it really hits the mark."
