El Paso Tapas Bar - Speisekarte

I was there twice. Once i ordered Mojito and it was so good. Second time I couldn’t finished it because it was so bad! Whyyyy? I am not going be back!!

The staff was amazing, the food was original and the drinks were great. Thank you for the lovely time we had, it felt like we had Latin roots right in front of us.

Great wee place for a nice tapas style meal slightly off the main area of Edinburgh! Different energetic and fun with lovely food and very friendly efficient staff! Highly enjoyable!

Absolutely amazing!! Never tasted anything like it!! Hidden gem absolutely!! Will 100% be back. Stumbled across it and have never been so surprised and satisfied in my life. Service was homely and amazing too!

Went with an Itison voucher for pitchers and tapas. The nachos to share was tasty but very small and taken away before we were finished. The salsa tasted like tinned tomatoes with herbs. The papas fritas were undercooked oven chips. The pitchers were not supposed to be alcohol free but we couldn't taste any alcohol at all. Won't be back. Speisekarte ansehen

Disappointed after reading the reviews. Wasn't great at all. Too much cheese on the tacos, not enough meat, wings were tiny, not much flavour in the food. And they didn't include the eat out to dine out on the bill had to ask and they said they didn't know how it worked. Was on the Government website so said it should be 50% off food. Much better Mexicans in Edinburgh. Would avoid

I have been to Elso Paso a number of times and have always had a brilliant time. The menu is pretty comprehensive and has plenty of choices for meat eaters and veggies. I particularly enjoyed the fresh guacamole, nachos and the veggie filling which was aubergine based. Foolishly, on our lost recent visit we were doing “dry January” so didn’t sample any of the wide ranges of rum and tequilas one offer but there is an impressive selection at the bar. Service was friendly and very personal.

I used an Itison voucher to order from this restaurant and the food was outstanding. The portions were incredibly generous - we were surprised by how much we got and ended up having leftovers for another dinner the next night. The beer included in the deal was nicely chilled, showing that they pay attention to detail. The lady who answered the phone also happens to be the one cooking the food and interacting with customers. Despite her busy workload, she was always pleasant and considerate in every interaction.
