great service great eating wonderful atmosphere. covered a group of 21 dinners with lightness. would highly recommend.

November : visited this venue for a lunchtime drink with family. We were served by a very professional and courteous staff. The customer service in the establishment is refreshing. A credit to the brewery.

Great roast dinner! Very generous portions of meat vegetables lashings of gravy, which we loved! Thanks to the guy with the blonde ponytail (apologies, but I don’t know your name) who served us was amazing

Nice spacious pub. Good food, had burger which came with plenty of salty fries. Limited real ale choice but plentiful choice of lager. Child friendly, nice touch was serving child meal with colourful knive and fork.

Loved this place, unexpected respite from the bustle of Eltham. Old fashioned touches such as a roaring log fire and big servings of Sunday lunch. Go early as its quieter and less children as the festive season descends. We didn't book and were lucky with the staff seating us at a reserved table but we would have finished in plenty of time. Definitely worth a visit.

great pub and restaurant. two days on the weekend. had drinks and meals outside on Saturday, weather beautiful, and beautiful sitting area outside. graffiti free! burgers were delicious, like the fish and chips! great service .friendly staff. Sunday we had their Sunday dinner...chicken . very good part, with all circumcisions. will definitely go back when in the opposite.

brilliant little pub, cozy, clean and friendly staff worth a visit. 2 pints by lawn £10.80 various options from london breweries also. eating was good for children. beautiful decoration in the whole environment, except the toilets of men was a little strange, it looks like the walls are all wet with condensation, so improved the toilet vibe, not quite sure, it is a big cache haha. otherwise beautiful pub is worth stopping!

I had Sunday lunch here today after visiting Eltham palace. I can honestly say that it was the best roast beef I've ever had (and I've had plenty). Every element was perfect. The beef was cooked medium and was incredibly tender. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The vegetables were outstanding and the portions were generous. Dessert was also brilliant, as was the ale I was drinking. The staff are really welcoming and my only regret is that I don't live closer.

Good pub with a great atmosphere. Pop in at opening time(12pm) after Remembrance Sunday parade. Amazing staff!! Polite, professional, attentive and helpful. Lovely roast dinner though my parsnip was a tad undercooked inside but would definitely revisit again. Plenty of seating inside and out but I'd recommend booking for Sunday lunch meal. Decor is a rustic look, but there is a wall area damaged by a current water leak which happened to be right by my table. Toilets located on 1st floor, mens toilet really needs a face lift and a toilet roll holder instead of being left on the toilet cleaner brush No parking but its available nearby at Sainsburys car park
