Esquires Coffee - Speisekarte

I've enjoyed several coffees here, and I've loved every single one! The ambiance is lovely and cozy; I always make it a point to sit in my favorite spot—the sofa by the window! It's perfect for a rainy day!

I had an incredible experience with customer service from Holly. She was very welcoming and helped me choose the perfect items to order. I'm really pleased with the coffee and food I received, all thanks to Holly! Outstanding customer service!

This cafe is very close to my place and I go there very often. The coffee is amazing and so is the food. The seating is very comfortable. I enjoy sitting in this cafe sipping coffee and reading a book or doing my work. Will definitely recommend the place for coffee and my favorite Nutella Crepe. Speisekarte ansehen

Approached by homeless guys 3 times within 4hours for coins. That’s why I am writing this review. I am willing to help but I really cannot deal with it so frequently! And this happens EVERY TIME I come here. The cafe needs to do sth. Other than that, it’s a good cafe and staff is always super nice. Sigh..

Incredible customer service! I walked in close to closing time on a Sunday, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I never felt rushed or unwelcome! I ordered a chai for my friend and a coffee for myself, which was delicious—very clean, smooth, and creamy! Although I was in a hurry this time, I’m definitely planning to treat myself to some cake next time I come with friends. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient!

Friendly, efficient. Value for money. Good portion size. EDIT. My second visit to esquires was not so good. I ordered the same toasted sandwich which comes with a bit of salad and crisps, but this time there was a tiny portion of salad with no dressing, no crisps and half a cup of iced latte. It is disappointing that different staff members do not produce the same quality and standard of dishes. It wont deter me, I will just make sure of the quality before i leave the store from now on, which is a shame. Speisekarte ansehen

The croissant was delightful. The coffee was just okay. The cashier was very friendly. However, the waiter could benefit from smiling and having better posture. The scrambled eggs were quite disappointing; they were too dry. The bread was supposed to be whole grain, but it was lacking flavor. The butter didn’t have that rich, full taste, and it seemed to fade into the toast instead of enhancing it. It felt almost like applying bleach to the bread. On a positive note, the cleanliness of the place was good.

I decided to check out this local coffee shop, and I was eager to try their hot caramel macchiato (single shot). I wasn't disappointed; as a macchiato enthusiast, it lived up to my expectations. My friends ordered the shop’s ice cream frappe and mocha frappe but didn’t recommend them as they found them too watery. They ended up asking for cubed ice to improve the taste. The atmosphere of the place was decent; it's a nice spot to hang out and relax, but not ideal for studying. The bathroom was a bit dirty, which might have been due to the fact that it was almost closing time when we visited.

I enjoy coming to this café since its refurbishment, however, there are a few niggling, ongoing issues. The first is that there seems to be a problem with the lighting along the front of the café closest to the street-facing windows; they turn off at random intervals and, weeks since reopening, haven 't been fixed. Seems that the issue extends to the plug sockets on that side of the space, too. The next is that, despite it being smack in the middle of winter, the café is often very cold. I suspect that the space is difficult to heat given that almost half of the wall space is windowed floor-to-ceiling and there isn 't a door into W12 to keep in heat.
