Great welcome and nice vibe. Menu is mainstream, comfort food. Food portions are generous but rather disappointing, especially child chips (replaced to be fair).

We stopped here on a Sunday morning after a short walk mainly for a drink and some toast. Great service and drink. Will definitely return here when back in Keswick. Speisekarte ansehen

The food was excellent, but the seating was a bit drafty as we were near the door. Our legs felt cold whenever the door was opened, so we had to cover them with our coats.

The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered typical comfort food options. The portions were large, but the quality was a bit underwhelming, especially the children's chips (which were replaced without issue).

Often call in for an all day breakfast at the weekend. The cafe is done up like a USA style diner, and has a similarly themed menu, pancakes, burgers, chicken, as well as the famous breakfast. Readinanly price, the ladies who run the cafe are...very cheerful and friendly, service is quick, food cooked ready to order. Only issue is sometimes on biker weekend in the summer there can be a bit of a wait for food. Recommended

we called on Monday morning in filling station cafe to the breakfast and it has now been added to our list of places we visit next time near kewick! in the inner we were warmly welcomed and the service was fabulous from beginning to end. friendly, efficient and very helpful. we visited as a family of six and all enjoyed our meals. the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were enormous fantastic value for money! relaxed, family atmosphere, excellent staff and fantastic eating. I would recommend it.

We fancied a juicy burger after a long walk and whilst descending the mountain I googled our options. The Filling Station came up and looked good. So glad we decided to give it a go. Such a warm welcome on arrival and a nice, chatty...atmosphere inside. Simple but substantial menu, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our burgers, milkshakes and drinks. Leftover milkshake was happily given to us by the lovely lady behind the bar a small gesture but really appreciated. Looks like it gets good trade all day, and so it should.
