Finch House Cafe Bakery

Ordered a cappuccino and got a flat white, when I asked for a cappuccino the barista was very rude and when she turned her back to me i could still hear her muttering about me.

Great Cafe Bakery. Always has fresh sandwiches/Paninis. Plenty of tables, Comfy seats in window area with pleasant view so you can watch the world go by! Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Popped in here on a Sunday with my daughter, it’s no longer Finch House and i couldn’t find the re named cafe on line, Nice and clean Toilets immaculate Excellent tuna melt, I could not eat it all. Large pizza very tasty a really large portion Recommend a visit here Speisekarte ansehen

Gone downhill. It used to be clean and refreshing but recently i have visited several times and it is the same each time, tables are dirty. Used cups plates left for hours. floor unswept flies everywhere especially around open food counter. Perhaps they are short staffed

I ordered a cake for my daughters 18th Birthday, it looked beautiful. It was cut the day after collection (having been stored in a cool room as per the staff advice) the sponge was very dry. I emailed the bakery to let them know and I was advised that someone would get back to me after the weekend a week on I am still waiting! All in all a very disappointing experience and I would not order from here again!

Went to this cafe on Tuesday at lunch time nice clean place pleasant staff lovely pastries but other than a burger or a sandwich anything else on the limited menu was unavailable I could understand if it was late evening,Not a great lover of burgers which was ok chips were like matchsticks.My wife asked for cottage pie sorry not available she then asked for two other dishes which were not available finally she asked what was available and was offered a toasted sandwich poor. A friend and I had a cup of coffee and a sandwich here one Wednesday lunchtime. The place was only about half full and there was plenty of space inside to move about. It was a bright and airy environment. The quality of food and the coffee was good but there was a strange ordering system. When you order coffee, you have to leave your tray on the counter and wait to be called to pick it up and take it to your table. For new customers it was a bit confusing. It was a nice place though, and I would probably visit again in the future.

Popped in after doing some banking at natwest thought it would be a good place to stop for a coffee now I know better. Its unusual to see flat white in two sizes in coffee shops so I opted for the large. A cup that looked to be around 16oz had a double shot of the most blandest coffee blend going. It was so weak it just looked like a large cup of milk. For that sized cup it needed at least 4 shots together with a blend of bean that should help the strength and flavour along. Took it back to the counter the untrained girls looked confused and just topped it up with a shot of espresso... no apologies or general customer service I couldn't help but feel they would be better suited in the pie an...

Amazing staff who went out of their way to ensure our dad enjoyed his 75th Birthday with family. Being a sufferer of Alzheimer's, finding suitable, friendly venues that are sympathetic to his needs is a rarity. The staff assisted with providing an intimate area, in an open and relaxed setting. They brought the food quickly and promptly to help prevent restlessness and agitation. They were gentle and kind when serving, providing smooth transitions to help everything feel as calm as possible. This enabled us to all have a stress free, enjoyable time together, creating another special memory, that although our dad will forget, will make us smile for days to come.
