Disappointed. Bagel had one slice smoked salmon, a slither of cream cheese, no garnish, no pickles. Not made with love. Very basic for the price I paid

Mid-afternoon visit, not too busy but i waited too ling for my toasted sandwich. Service was friendly and apologetic. Table wasn’t clean. Toasty was too delicious!

Vegan brownie is like a mm² , not worth the money for a mere morsel, basil over the road gave me a large chunk of vegan cake, it now can’t compete unless it increases its portion sizes

Went for breakfast as wanted to support a local cafe rather than one of the chains nearby. Unfortunately not great poached eggs way overdone, avocado was some sort of bought paste. No butter on the bread etc. Needs a proper kitchen really rather than trying to prepare such food in the corner of the serving counter from warming equipment. Really hope they can improve things as staff are great and the location/ambience is spot on

This fast food restaurant has a nice ambiance and location, but unfortunately my experiences here have been disappointing. The cake and coffee I tried on my first visit tasted like they were from a box and the coffee was too milky. On my second visit for brunch, the coffee was still too milky and the all day breakfast lacked heart in its preparation. While the avocado presentation was good, the eggs were overcooked and the avocado tasted store-bought. The sourdough was the highlight, earning this place 2 stars.

The food was certainly tasty, but undoubtedly overpriced considering the tight portion sizes. We found the café to be pretty and well-decorated, although this did not offset the sub-par table service. Despite the friendly welcome from staff at the counter, waitstaff could be described as inhospitable at best, which was disappointing seeing as service was slower than you’d expect for a place with so few customers present. The lack of salt and pepper shakers at each table was noticeable. If improvements were made, we would visit again.

Very disappointed customers. We have frequented this café as regular customers since the day the establishment opened during which time we have enjoyed a coffee and a cake on many occasions but of late find that the quality of the coffee has seriously deteriorated. Having tried both ordinary and decaffeinated Americanos we are convinced either inferior coffee is now used or the quantity of coffee per cup has been reduced. In addition to the drop in coffee quality they also have recently increased prices. Would certainly not recommend, but would suggest that a visit to another nearby establishment would result in a more satisfying experience.

On 21.04.22, I experienced much better service at this restaurant compared to a year ago. The staff were friendly and much quicker. They accidentally gave me a large flat white instead of a normal sized one, but did not charge me for it. However, the coffee was too milky. The friand was fresh and delicious as expected. The bacon buttie was tasty and came in a foiled bag, but it seemed like the roll was not buttered, which I found surprising. They did not ask if I was eating in or taking away, so they had to transfer the friand from a plate to a bag, without providing any napkins in the bag. As a result, the coffee leaked. Went in for a late breakfast. Loads of veggie options but only one vegan sandwich (carrot and houmous which is a bit uninspiring) strange as they offer milk alternatives (oat/ coconut/ almond) for the coffee but then not for the porridge. They have so many sandwiches/ paninis/ toasties that are veggie but they all have cheese! I also noticed no gluten free options at all for those needing this. My partner was not keen on the carrot houmous sandwich so he didn't eat but the veggie food I had was good. Lots of seating room and facilities for babies (high chair/ changing toilet). Staff were friendly but if you have allergies/ intolerances or are vegan they don't seem able to prepare a sandwich...
