"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive.There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required.There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. The staff was unprofessional and rude. The food was cold and they even charged for sauces. Overall, I would not recommend this place. The service, atmosphere, and food quality all scored a 1 out of 5. Speisekarte ansehen

Unfortunately, we were left disappointed with the service at this restaurant. Despite placing an order, it was incorrect when it arrived. We tried to speak with the manager, but they did not take any action to rectify the situation. As a result, we lost £35.36 and were not satisfied with the service, particularly from the manager.

I ate a local kebab set a few days ago and it was great . Today I ordered for home own collection . The kebab set was cold, not tasty, full of vegetables . The fries were so hard they had been left for several hours . . I don't recommend takeaway . After this treatment, I will not visit this kebab and I do not recommend it . "We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"This is my favourite place to grab lunch. It has a wide variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and some hot food. The prices are good and the food tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and very switched on when it comes to allergy information. My diet is quite restrictive, however I have so much choice here. I can't recommend it enough!"

"Decent sushi, props to the chef. We had the sushi master selection for two people (28 pieces of assorted sushi, 2 miso soups and bottomless green tea) and some tuna sashimi at the end which came to £26 altogether which is a reasonable price for sushi from what I've seen. It's a small stall in the bullring fish market run by just the chef so it has an authentic feel and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Otoro sushi however I suggest booking ahead as it is always busy."

"Miller Carter Mailbox is a fantastic spot for steak and cocktails if you’re in Birmingham. From the moment I arrived, the team was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. I didn’t have to wait long for my food everything was served promptly and with great attention to detail. I ordered the medium ribeye steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, flavourful, and tender. I also had a cocktail called Strawberry Fields, with a touch of elderflower, and it was truly mind-blowing, refreshing and beautifully balanced. The table and surroundings were spotless, and the quality of the meat was very impressive. I would also like to give a special mention to Renee, who looked after my table with exceptional care and professionalism. Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting Kiran, Ayush, and Atharva, members of the kitchen team, who were incredibly welcoming and clearly dedicated to delivering food to the highest standard. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
