"location on Lake Orta, ideal for events. We had a table right on the lake, the view is very pleasant, the warm day of sun, the service is efficient, the quality of the dishes however leaves enough to want, more from great location for events than for refined cuisine. The price quality ratio is not good in my opinion, although the area is expensive."

"Stayed here a few times now which should say everything you need to know.... and I intend to go back. Nice, family run hotel with everything you need in one place. Great (family style service, above average (great restaurant and view on lake (incredible and if you opt for the room with a view, it is certainly worth it. Don't expect super modern rooms with all the mod cons but they're clean and it fits in with the style of the hotel. Did I mention the pool....best in class...(perfect for a hotel? ...and you can watch your kids swim whilst having a great lunch on the terrace. Better still...this place is pet and kid friendly....is there anyone in Italy who doesn't like kids or pets...thank you for making us feel welcomed. Parking available on site and great location...just 5 mins walk away from the lake front and the main square. Nice accessible areas in vicinity for walking the dogs...and the kids!"

"Food was amazing. Best ravioli I’ve ever had. The duck left me just speechless. But I didn’t like the cheese selection (really bad). Also, we ordered coke zero but one of the waitresses said they had only normal coke. As I only drink coke zero, water was fine for me. A few minutes later, another waitress, very kind and helpful, brought my sister a coke zero. She said they were actually out of normal coke but they had coke zero, so I ordered one for myself. Then I saw that first waitress giving out to that other kind waitress about the coke. And for many other times I saw her mistreating the poor and kind waitress, just because of COCA COLA! When we were ready to pay, we asked a waiter if it was possible to pay one part cash and another part by card, he said it was ok. When I arrived at the bar, the first waitress was at the till and she made us pay the whole bill with cash. She clearly doesn’t know anything about her workplace or just just like giving customers a hard time. Food is amazing but because of her I’d rather go to other restaurants nearby."

"first we went to a rainy day in the evening and that's not nice. the restaurant is shielded from wind and rain by a plastic protection that lifts the view of the lake. Generally, if you have to go, they go to lunch on a nice day. but don't expect much from eating. it was served too fast, the quantities are too high, the warm dishes were lukewarm, and the taste. the tartaric acid was very blanching (and contained some nervous pieves), the fennel (a huge bed) and forellensalat also lacked taste, and also the tartaric acid sauce of fried fish, while the calamari were served quite cold. the price for two persons including a glass wein does not help to award the mediocre quality. the played music was not insulting, but in a good restaurant it is wiser not to play at all. the personal is very friendly, which makes it difficult to be so critical."

"I choose 5 stars not by chance, all you deserve; I thank the local Titolari and all those who contributed to make special this small stage Al Boeuc in Orta San Giulio; p.s. I thank you also for the preamura dedicated to satisfy my request for purchase of a bottle of apparently exhausted passito..but surprise I am reached in the small square not far from a collaborator with the bottle of the passito, both satisfied. Serve with passion... Makes a difference!"
