My friends and I had dinner here towards the end of last year. We felt very safe with the well-spaced tables. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning when we can.

Excellent staff , food , restaurant interior. Good value Sunday lunch sea bass with sides ,Pork with sides , two pints of lime and soda £36 . Excellent value as the food was delicious

Excellent meal .Great portions of home cooked food. Friendly and helpful staff . So full at end of meal but couldn't resist the pear and ginger crumble which they kindly put in a takeaway container for us to have later- delicious Speisekarte ansehen

Truly excellent, really friendly staff and great tasting food. We've been coming 38 years to Plas Talgarth which has sadly dropped in standards so went down the lane to this pub, have been for food here before over the years and this was a great visit. Thank you to all the staff

Had a lovely sunday lunch in the garden, the pork, lamb and seabass were all excellent and an absolute steal at £16 each with plenty of veg and gravy for everyone. The local beer was very well kept and delicious. The staff provided outstanding service and the location is pretty hard to beat as well

Both had wonderful Sunday lunches, and agree they were amongst the best we’ve ever eaten out. Unusually for us we had a starter, the homemade soup which was delicious. Then on to the main event plenty of meat (one beef, one lamb) veg and gravy all cooked to perfection. Both at bursting point, we still couldn’t refuse puddings again, homemade and delicious. I had Sunday lunch at this restaurant a few weeks ago and the food was delicious. However, I noticed that there were many young staff members who could benefit from some Customer Service training. We weren't asked if we wanted any sauces or if everything was alright with our meal. We also had to wait a long time for them to clear our table. Additionally, I tried to call ahead to book a table and left a message, but nobody returned my call.

We reserved a table at The Riverside for a funeral reception after a family member's funeral. It's always a challenge to predict the number of guests, but the staff at The Riverside were very understanding, accommodating, and organized. They were able to adjust the food to meet the needs of all guests. The quality of the food was exceptional. We look forward to returning under happier circumstances. Thank you for creating a warm and comforting atmosphere at the end of a difficult day.

We had two meals at this restaurant. The first was just a couple of starters in the bar area, and both the goat cheese salad and smoked duck salad were excellent. The sweet potato fries were a bit overdone, but we were only charged for one portion. The bill came to £36, plus tip. The second meal was a much fuller dinner in the restaurant. The tenderstem broccoli starters, gnocchi main course, and tofu curry main course were also excellent. We finished with two affogatos with liquors, which were also excellent. The service was great, efficient, and friendly. The total bill came to £92, plus tip, which we felt was good value considering the quality of the food. Speisekarte ansehen
