Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Good place for lunch at a central location. There were some decent deals for lunch options which is very good. The minus is that the service was a bit slow.

The server was very disrespectful towards us simply because we wanted to switch tables before placing our order, for reasons unknown to us. The burger also did not meet our expectations in terms of quality.

Burgers were very good, fries were also, but we both agreed that the milkshakes were superior. I had the salted caramel and my adult niece had the Oreo. She is an ice cream and milkshake connoisseur and the title of this review is a direct quote. Speisekarte ansehen

Place was amazing great atmosphere and great staff all friendly and helpful, the food was perfect would recommend this anyone and everyone will be back again one day. Sometimes when out you have a waiter or waitress who catches your eyes or you have a good connection with and here you will definitely get that.

Really good GBK. The staff are friendly and efficient. The kitchen looked really clean and organised. There’s also quite a nice vibe for a big chain fast food restaurant too. The food is the usual decent standard and it’s nice to have a vegan burger option that isn’t frozen fake meat like everywhere else seems to be doing and is actually enjoyable for a vegetarian as well.

I recently visited the GBK located across from Waterloo railway station and was able to secure a table at 5:40 pm on a Friday evening. The staff, who were Polish, provided excellent service. The two burgers I ordered were generously sized and made with good quality ingredients. The accompanying chips, salad, and San Miguel beer were also enjoyable. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. By the time we left at 6:40 pm, a small queue had formed despite the rainy weather. I would recommend this restaurant to others. Speisekarte ansehen

I absolutely adored this restaurant. It was welcoming, friendly, professional, and efficient. The food and drinks were great. My wife, who uses a wheelchair, received exceptional help and empathy from the staff. We will definitely be returning. The only downside was that there was no toilet seat in the accessible restroom, which was quite bizarre. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed before our next visit. All of the staff were polite and respectful, with particularly friendly service from the manager, an Eastern European man.

Went to this place about a year ago ordered grilled chicken burger. It came stone hard dry. Came back today to give them another chance waited for 45minutes and even the starters didn't come. It was only 5 6 tables taken and about 6 members of staff serving They were more concerned about takeaway orders...Glasses and water bottle were full of limescale, when mentioned they said it was from salt of dishwasher. Had to get attention of waiters, no one was paying attention. We were so hungry so went to complain and it was not even in process of being ready so we walked away. This is a pleasant, welcoming burger place that aims to provide slightly better than average food and service and, in my opinion, succeeds. The decor is nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was served fairly promptly and was of good quality. The menu doesn't offer tremendous variety but it's a case of quality rather than quantity and they do cater for both vegetarian and vegan requirements. I went to GBK with a friend at a time of night when most other places nearby looked rather noisy or too busy for their own good (i.e. there were clearly more people than the staff could really cope with).
