Gourmet Burger Kitchen

I was looking for a quick meal, and in Student Land (it's near to the University) this looked okay. And it promises your money back if your order doesn't arrive within 15 minutes.

Friendly from the start with efficient service. Burgers delicious as was the halloumi starter. Blue cheese coleslaw was amazing. But on the expensive side but nothing to fault. Nice buzz to the place.

I was doing a course at the folk house in Bristol (which is just down the road from here) and if we get an hour for lunch which you sometimes do on these day courses I like to try somewhere different to eat, and to get a change of scenery

We ordered the skinny chips thinking they were like the ones that you get from McDonald's, but these were even skinnier! Which meant they got cold very quickly. They are OK if ordered by kids as they liked the novelty of eating them but we...

We bought burgers for the team working in the snow. My chicken burger had cheese in it for some reason and the bun was cremated. All 6 other meals were great as usual. Very appreciated that they were open in the bad weather conditions. Thank you

Wanted something special after seeing Warhorse at the Hippodrome. Had booked a booth but unfortunately it was still in use when we arrived a little early. Antonio sorted things out quickly for us. The food was great and the kids really enjoyed it. Thank You!

Ok here goes....for the price.....totally average burger not gourmet burger! Although its a really good burger it should be a couple of quid cheaper. That being said,for the gluten free people out there its a real treat. The gf burgers are just as good as the normal burgers on really good quality gf bread and as all you gf know that can be pretty hard to find. So for that reason alone id recommend this place...but maybe off the cheaper lunch menu. But sadly no gf chips which is a bit of a let down. I mean how hard can it be to use a separate fryer people?

We travelled on a Friday evening to Bristol for a weekend away and needed a quick and tasty dinner! The ever reliable GBK seemed like the answer! It wasn’t the best GBK we have ever had, but it was ok, filled a hole and the service was pretty good! I opted for the Chicken Satay burger and it was just ok! I think that the burger had too much of the warm satay sauce on it, which had a very thick and gloopy consistency and left my mouth feeling extremely dry This GBK experience wasn’t the best but overall the GBK chain still provides the best burger restaurants on the British high street!

Well what am I to say about the whole experience! It was utterly poor from the get go! Spent £65 for a family of four the service was poor there was one man serving, the food was cold as it was all sat on the side waiting for ages also lacked everything you order and burger and it doesn’t not come with any sides or salad so you actually spend about £16 per head for a main meal! Chef in the kitchen visible massive beard with no hair net vile! Sent a complaint through to their head office for the branch to ring me to tell me I had to go back in to receive a refund! Overall terrible experience I will never be returning unless it’s to get my refund !
