"We arrived at the restaurant after making a reservation and were escorted to our table by a member of staff. As other diners came in, they were promptly given menus and asked for their drink orders. However, after waiting for 30 minutes, we had to ask for menus ourselves. Eventually, a staff member brought them over and took our drink orders. Another 15 minutes passed before our order was finally taken. The starters were decent, but our main dishes were disappointing. I had requested peppercorn sauce for my partner's steak, but it never came. My own main course looked haphazardly put together. The bill came out to £72.25, which we felt was significantly overpriced for the quality of the meal. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service and felt like we wasted two hours of our evening. In hindsight, we should have left. The customer service was abysmal. Service: Dine-in. Type of meal: Dinner. Price per person: £30–40."

"Wow! A taste sensation! Now, I go to a lot of cafés....you could almost say it 's a hobby ....but the deliciousness of everything at this wee café is beyond belief!! If I could give an extra 5 stars for food quality, then this place would get them! The coffee is excellent 'made with love ' according to our fabulous server. It shows! The food is exquisite. Quite simply a taste sensation. We had: mushroom soup with truffle oil the best I 've ever had. Dirty Posh baguel black pudding, goat 's cheese, more, served with kettlechips very nice coleslaw utterly delicious. And the cakes!!!! Frangipan blacurrant bakewell and spiced pear apple loaf. OMG!! The café itself is quite lovely. Cosy and spacious, a real fire for wintertime and a great wee courtyard grden for summer. Comfy sofas, and nice wooden tables. It 's got everything! A real gem in our beloved Scottish Highlands ."

"This charming neighborhood bar has a charismatic bartender who is not afraid to speak his mind. The pies here are delicious and reasonably priced. Be sure to try their top-notch Irish whiskey and give our regards to the bartender! We will definitely stop by again if we are in the area. Average cost per person is between £10–20. Food quality: 5 stars."

"The restaurant is small and cosy with a relaxed vibe. It was very busy on a Friday night so I'm glad we booked a table! I'd checked when booking that they definitely offer vegan options, and they'd remembered before we arrived they'd already put the separate vegan menu out for us on our table. The menu is pretty good including several starters (haggis balls, loaded skins etc . 6 mains options, including two types of burger (the cairngorm was delicious! Dessert options too. Apparently one of their staff is vegan and I think it shows. Even just having vegan cheese for burgers and vegan condiments on offer is a nice touch you don't always get in other places. A great option for dining out if you're in the area."

"Arrived in Grantown on Spey at 11pm after being on the A9 for 5.5hrs. Desperate for food we searched the high street for a takeaway. This was the only place with its lights on. These guys came to the rescue and made us a chicken korma after the kitchens had basically closed and it was delicious. Would definitely go again... Maybe not so late next time."
