"visited in the family by occasion. presents a room with attention to detail and airy. we are welcomed by the owners who kindly accompany us to the table and offer us a barrel of excellent wine of the territory. the paper presents careful and ranges from the fish raw to the dishes of the territory. they bring us bread made in the house very good and warm and we begin the experience with a well-served fish raw and very good of the mantecato cod that turns out creamy and tasty and of the search salami also they very good. special mention to the bottom with shrimp and truffle excellently executed and cured, creamy cooking to the perfect tooth and balance of exceptional flavors. the children have eaten some homemade watchmen at the ragout of ducks that were special. we follow with some baked scallops and lobsters, good and not maltreated. we conclude with sweets that were one more good than the other, from crispy basket with pistachio semi-freddo ice cream and caramel sauce finishing with a masterful frolla made in the house with custard and strawberries (a delight). I'm sure we'll be back!"

"On our way from Vicenza to Verona, it was recommended to us by an Italian friend to have a stop at this pizzeria located in a village where international tourist normally would not stop ... I personally expected to find a cosy 'typical old Italian familial style ' restaurant ... but we found something so different !! the restaurant on two levels is top notch newly decorated (some 4 years ago) and offers over 60 different pizzas on their menu !! ... for me that is too much to choose from and happily our group of 8, unanimously decided that we would simply trust the recommendations of Henrique, one of the two charming owners, and share a few ... the plain pizza (well, not soo plain) with tomatoes, burrata, prociutto crudo was simply D I V I N E ! ... the one with the pieces of fried polenta just to die for ... all 8 pizzas we tried were generously topped and came in combinations I never seen anywhere before on a fin crusted perfectly baked pizza bread ... what a discovery, totally yammy !! ... even if not on your way, this place is worth a detour ! ... surely one of the best pizzas in the world ... thank you Henrique and Allessandro and your charming team ... one day we will be back ... oh yeah, I am Dutch : the prices (for us Parisians) were ridiculously ... low !!"

"This establishment has been in operatiion since 1908...same family. They are obviously doing something right. The food is first class with a wide range of suggestions, daily specials, and regular outstanding fare. The dining room is well appointed and its interesting to see the number of locals that mix with out of town travelers. Prices are very very fair. The wine selection is incredible and offers the best from nearby wineries. Go with the suggested bottle for your meal. They offer seven well appointed and modern rooms upstairs. I personaly make this my base every year while attending VinItaly in nearby Verona. Cannot beat the rooms or the service. The ajoining countryside is beautiful. Quiet, peacful, wineries to visit, the snow capped Dolomites. Daniela Tregnago is the proprietor...she is a gem. Also ask for Giovanni- the major domo of sorts...tell him Mike from Texas sent you! FORGET NAPA"

"Piacevole esperienza presso questo locale della provincia di Vicenza che mi è stato segnalato da un amico della zona. Sala da pranzo accogliente con pavimento in legno e arredamento elegante. Personale cortese attento e accomodante, gentile nel consigliare i piatti del Menù in considerazione di qualche intolleranza e dieta particolare. Numerosi piatti carne e pesce. Provato due antipasti di pesce semplice ma gradevoli. Un primo stellare cacio e pepe con tartare di gamberi rossi e tartufo estivo: merita solo per questo. Un secondo scaloppa di rombo con pomodorini e patate al forno buono! Gradevole il sorbetto al mirtillo. Prezzo onesto. Ci torneremo."

"Siamo venuti qui con l app the fork. É stata una bella scoperta a pochi km da casa. Abbiamo preso 1 antipasto di tartare di Fassona al coltello e il cappuccino di funghi. Il primo buono, bello l'impattamento, il secondo ní a detta del mio compagno che lo ha ordinato. Di primo 2 risotti dello chef ovvero al tartufo. Molto buono e la quantità veramente tanta. Un minuto indietro sarebbe stato eccezionale. Poi di secondo 1 pichana e delle zucchine trifolate. Molto buona e ottima la cottura richiesta. Al volo abbiamo preso 1 bicchiere della nonna con biscotto senza glutine, molto specie fatto di biscotto, crema pasticcera e pinoli tostati. Insieme abbiamo ordinato 2 calici di vino in bottiglia e 0.75L di acqua naturale. Con la promozione 50% sul cibo escluso coperto e bevande abbiamo speso 46. Ottimo direi. Dovremmo tornare quando ci sono i piatti freschi di pesce. Se avete intolleranze ditelo alla prenotazione io ho trovato il pane senza glutine nel mio sacchettino!"
