Hamblins - Speisekarte

In my opinion best f&c in the town. Four different fish to be chosen, chips are thick and tasty. You can order by phone and collect in person. Pity they are closed

It's an hour round trip for me too here. (Well worth it everytime Expect clean tasty food served with a smile As everyone around will tell you It's the best chippie in Bristol!!!

The fish was delicious. Tried the tartar, chilli and chilli mayo, curry sauces.. they are all homemade and tasted incredible. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Overall, a great fish chips place and I am visiting again for sure!! Speisekarte ansehen

I just happened to be passing this place and nipped in for some eats. Had the Seafood Basket, which was great. Everything cooked fresh and not dripping in grease. I just wish I lived over that side of the country so that I could visit more often (or maybe you could branch out and open another place on the South East Coast??

I have three local chips and fish shops a stones throw from the house, but I'd make the trip to Hamblins each and every time now I've tried it. Chips were crispy yet fluffy and without being saturated in grease, same for the sausie batter just spot on. Really friendly service and amazingly good value for money! Check. It. Out!!

Overall, our experience at this restaurant was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was also delicious, with high-quality fish and generous portions. The customer service at Hamblins is fantastic, with very polite staff. I have been a loyal customer since I was a child and at 33, I still believe these are the best owners. The chips are amazing, the burger is unbelievably good and juicy, and not only tastes good but looks impressive too. The curry sauce is surprisingly delicious as well. I highly recommend Hamblins.

This photo does it no justice. Went in to order and the guy behind the counter was super friendly! Gave us a load of freebies as we did a big order which was so kind of them! The food itself was amazing, proper huge portions and excellent quality, some of the best crispy fish I've had in Bristol! Our nan had a Pastie and was very pleased (which is saying something as she's a fussy one will defo be back!
