"REVAMPED! Spacious, friendly and REAL COFFEE rare to find good menu. Visited 22nd November still great coffee BUT I was refused a selection of breakfast items to suit my diet because it’s not allowed! Spent some time trying to get round this I had already ordered a vegetarian breakfast for my husband with SCRAMBLED egg. a little of time spent juggling with the till!! FINALLY they caught on that I had ordered a PROPER meal and they decided I could have the extras on a separate plate. My husbands meal arrived with FRIED eggs with raw yolks not healthy . Sent back and finally got what we wanted. And I have a loyalty card! Friendly enough but staff are having to stick to silly rules risking upsetting customers. Oh, and they are not frying the mushrooms, that really annoys me! Not sure what they do with em but they’re not nice. They fry plenty of other stuff for breakfasts. A good start here but it’s slipping."

Great farm shop, fab produce on sale. New innovative gift shop upstairs. Well worth visiting cafe for great food. Small garden centre but still.worth a visit Speisekarte ansehen

Loved it. The staff were polite and accommodated us. There was a very friendly elderly lady who I assume owns the place she was kind, friendly and had a very calming aura. I will certainly go back

Beef bourguignon and a cappuccino, both of which were excellent! The bourguignon was very beef rich and a welcome surprise compared to most restaurants where it would be very vegetable heavy. The food was great and service better. I’m not a fan of 200 degrees coffee but it was very pleasant. An awfully enjoyable experience.

Had a wonderful classic afternoon tea for two here today and it was the best we’ve had in recent times. All our requirements were met, it was reasonably priced and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! Nice little farm shop, garden centre and gift shop with some lovely products on site too. Speisekarte ansehen

Really surprised we have been going here years on our bikes and must have spent thousands regular visitors every other week! When we arrived today it was howling down with rain and we were told we had to take our helmets off before we could enter we did but got absolutely wet through really not very thoughtful we would definitely not have gone to order with our helmets on but I don’t see why they asked us to take them off on arrival. Really disappointment by their attitude!

The location is great, but it’s overshadowed by the café, which has no seating available due to its popularity with Mrs. Bucket and her friends. The food is decent, but the service is poor; it seems they only clear tables when they’re out of dishes. The other shops on the premises are quite nice, with knowledgeable staff. The garden center is a genuine one that's not cluttered with unrelated items, and the butcher is excellent. However, there are no facilities for disabled guests.
