Hawasana Afghan Cuisine

Delicious pilau, dhal, dumplings and my favourite tea cardamom green tea. Just very lovely. Strongly recommended. I have not had Afghan food since travelling in the region many years ago, and this was such a nice find.

I was visiting for a day Stoke on Trend to see my nephew on my way to Liverpool visited this place and spoke to the Chef and their team they arrange amazing food for us and we enjoyed to the last bit of it I think this is one of the place I will strongly recommend to visit and eat some good food Speisekarte ansehen

Amazing food, so glad we stumbled across this place. Ordered the set meal for 2-3 persons plus the lamb karahi which was loads of food for the 4 of us, we took some home. Generous portions, very reasonable price. We also loved trying the mango lasso and the cardamon green tea which were both excellent. Wish we lived nearer!

My sister and her fiancé suggested this place because of the kebabs. So they took me there. I wasn't disappointed. In fact I would say that this is the best place I've ever been to for spit roasted tandoor kebabs, naan, rice and meat. That's not just Stoke, it's definitely the best food in Stoke. Hands down, best kebab and naan I've ever had.

Thank God brother Amin is back. He is one of the nicest man I ever know. The food is absolutely amazing my eyes are bigger than my belly couldn't finish it so had to take home the leftovers I will not wast such a nice n freshly cooked food from this place. Had the meal for four, my son and his girlfriend have the appetites of youth and we enjoy a lovely spicy, savoury meal we were not disappointed. I cannot describe the range of wonderful flavours and tastes we found, there was that much that we had to take some away with us. Speaking with the very personable manager, he mentions that it is 'food his mother serves up ' and that can get no better than that! I strongly recommend a visit, its a lovely restaurant with flavours to match, we travel 20 miles to go there and it is worth every inch we take.

We walked in at 1530hrs (it opened at 1400hrs). And it was immediately obvious that this was a lunchtime family favourite amongst Stoke's large Asian community, who were clearly having a great time this is surely a recommendation in itself! We were not disappointed with our meal. Whilst the eat in area became quite quiet after the lunchtime rush concluded, there was also a busy take away side to the business going on. I like to see a restaurant that's busy that means food is being done at a healthy pace and not left sitting around in a kitchen. couldnt resist, been shopping in Hanley area, nip down into Shelton to test out the report on Hawasana; we walked into a lovely friendly environment where the food on other tables was like a magical feast. We went for the mixed kebab starter which set the scene superbly, not a small portion and well worth the wait to be cooked fresh. The jewel in the crown for us was the Lamb Karahi, it takes 45 minutes to get the blend of spices cooked off and is served with a salad and a naan that took up nearly half of the double table well worth the wait.
