Hereford Road - Speisekarte

Been here once before but unfortunately couldn't get a table for dinner, next day I went back for lunch and I was one of the first in for lunch service! I

A lovely little spot. The dishes were simple but very tasty. The staff were welcoming and professional (almost too professional! . It had a cozy, local neighborhood feel which is exactly what we were looking for. A hidden gem!

This was our second visit for lunch. We had the set menu which was excellent value and absolutely delicious. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend. We will be going again! Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent meat but final spoiled by the dessert that tastes like nothing. 6 pound plus 12,5 of the total for the service for absolutely nothing, I left it entirely. Also the service cold and hasty. Rude waiters, when I pointed out about the dessert they dismissed me rudely without even apologizing. NOT RECOMMEND.

Not easy to find a traditional English restaurant that does a real tasty beef and mash with horse radish these days. But I found it with Hereford Road, named after the leafy street where its located in Notting Hill. The chefs even wore good old British blue and white pinstripe overalls! Dessert of mousse with blueberries was also delicious! Probably will return here to sample rest of menu!

Last Friday friend and I went to Hereford Road, to experience their fixed price lunch, a treat. we know the restaurant. the lunch was delicious, the restaurant, was full and buzzing, and on top of which it was good value...I know it by evening, I do not, have not experienced it by day, but, if this is the standard, of their friday fixed lunch, will definitely book again, five star lunch five star value. Never had such a rude and uninspired service crew. The outsides tables were sticky from the trees. Waiter: there is nothing we can do! Not even a place mat? Disgusting. Plate and silverware thrown on the sticky table. Food is average. At 7:30 two of the main dishes were out. Again, no excuse, choose something else! By the way total bill for the two of us was 198 Waiter thinks he is special, because he works in a Notting Hill Restaurant

The service was awful we could not as much as much get a refill of water in the 2.5 hours spent there, having had to flail around for any attention. (Also our waiter was exceptionally dour. Perhaps he was having a bad day but for a Friday evening things felt a little too funerary) The starters and mains were obviously well sourced but too underwhelming and insipid to make it through the whole meal. Half of our food went uneaten and it was interesting no one bothered to ask why. We couldnt risk dessert, so went up the road to a gelataria for some insanely good ice cream.

We had the misfortune of visiting the Hereford Road Restaurant this evening. Having lived in London for 46 years, I've never seen such rude and disinterested service from a restaurant staff . We waited 1.5 hours for a starter that didn't arrive. When we pointed out we'd waited for 1.5 hours, the dark curly haired waiter was uninterested. Refused to help and argued back with us that 1.5 hour wait was fine. We suggested maybe they give us a starter or something to make nice. They didn't. All in all, literally the worst service in London at the moment.. Avoid like the plague. The prices are outrageous at these chicken shop service levels. The head waiter should be fired.
