"I experienced Vietnamese food for the first time at Hop. I had always heard that the Vietnamese food is heavy on aroma and has a distinctive smell that one can taste in it. Not sure if what I tasted here was authentic but I did like it. I had ordered a chicken and rice dish. The portion size was good enough for one person. The chicken however was a bit dry. I will try Vietnamese food again but not really sure if it will be at Hop. May be may be not. But you sure can try it once. You might like it more than I did."

Feb 2022 It is almost 5 stars. I enjoyed tasteful broth. Chicken is tender and well seasoned. Without any additional options, volume is enough for me. To be fair, pho noodle itself is too soft and shredded. But it’s acceptable level.

Decent enough Vietnamese place in the city. Great Viet iced coffee, but dropped a star for increasing prices and stopping breakfast post Covid. I get it, but almost £4 for what is essentially a medium size is too much, especially as I can’t grab it until most of the way through the morning. I’ve heard this branch is closing in July, which is a shame. Will be missed.
