Since the upgrade the food is much nicer and has decent prices. Drinks are average for a pub. Has pub quizzes on a thursday (i think) and karaoke.

Went here for lunch today, was pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, great food and quick service!!Heard lots of bad things about it. But didn't have any problems

Ordered a £5.50 fish finger sandwich. Got a piece of bread with two fishfingers on it. What a bargin! Staff all lovely here but watch the food it was an absolute joke Speisekarte ansehen

You may get a discount on parking !! We didn't, food served promptly that's because it had been lying on the side for 4 days and reheated should of been 2 for 10 pound cost me 16 lucky I won 20 pound on the machine giggled at the thought of having another fork full of food and ran off never again !!

This is a really scruffy pub. When we went in at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of free tables but every single one of them had dirty crockery or glassware. It was like the place had just had to evacuate the moment everyone had finished their food or drinks. The food itself was mediocre but on a two for tenner deal. Toilets were disgusting.Car park is pay and display (redeem price against food and drink bill).

Myself partner and son went tonight for tea as a treat!got there at 5.30 and still waiting for food at 7.30!!!!!....with a 6 year old!...I don't really drink so wanted a coffee....the machine was broke!!got a refund and went to the chippy over the road!!The guy came to the table to tell us it would be 20 minutes ...40 minutes later was no sign!...we ordered..2 steaks and a gammon!...really should be quicker as a steak takes 5....when I went to ask they had give our dinner to another table!!!we eat out a lot and for basic pub food was a total let down will NEVER go here again!!! Decided to pop out for tea when family visited. God, what a mistake. Son ordered a combo sharer platter for starter to share, and most of the offerings were rather overcooked crunchy to the extreme. However when my main arrived, char sui pork with noodles) we entered different territory altogether. Meat was a burnt offering and virtually impossible to cut without a saw. The rest of the meal was merely lukewarm and rather unpleasant. It was the first time in my many years that I've had to return a meal to the kitchen. Very disappointing meal, I won't return unless the place changes hands.

There was 6 of us in total and we had prebooked for 5pm, right in between a Man United match and a Man City match! We were expecting it to be quite rowdy but eventhough both matches were being showed, we didn't find that it was too loud.It was busy, but all food came out on time and it was all delicious. Possibly the first time we've been out and all plates have been cleared! We were already planning our next visit half way through the starters!The variety of food was brilliant, especially as there were a few picky eaters in our party. Everywhere was clean and the staff were very helpful. The prices were fantastic and ideal if you don't fancy spending a fortune.

Has the potential to be amazing!Great menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff!But, and it 's a HUGE but ....It took over 2 hours for our meals to arrive (5 adults, 2 teens 1 child), and when they came they were burnt .... It seemed like them may have forgotten a meal and kept the others in the pans too long whilst they rushed and prepare the missing one, but that 's just my opinion...So we complained (you could have loaded the overlooked scampi into a gun and done some damage) so they replaced it (took 25 mins) about brought my MIL a free drink which was nice.
