This restaurant is a wonderful example of genuine, regional Umbrian cooking and food, in a small, unspoiled, rural village in the mountains. Our food was superb, starting with a very large antipasti of local cured meats and cheese. A delicious, complementary appetiser followed: courgette flower stuffed with anchovy and mozzarella, fried in a light batter. The secondi was a rich tagliatelle with beef and tomato ragu and then came the primi piatti of fresh local trout, roasted on the wood fired barbecue, served with salad.
