"Our Omaha Beach tour group of about 16 people stopped here for a prearranged lunch. We had preordered our meals when we booked the tour (Bayeaux Tours outstanding! , with a choice of chicken or fish. The chicken and au gratin potatoes were very good, as was the service. All the workers spoke a little English, and that, combined with the writer's 20 words of French, was more than enough for the purpose. Of course, the highlight is the stunning views of Omaha Beach. It almost seems wrong to sit there and enjoy lunch against a backdrop where so many brave people perished. Strongly recommended; this is the place for lunch when you're visiting Omaha and associated sites."

Go to old town on the sea at the hotel casino’s brewery would it be only to drink a coffee or a refreshment there because it is a place full of history even, hung on a wall, a letter of thanks signed by General patton.

A good half an hour before having the same card to be served. Cammbert mold full of sand no cover for my daughter's dish. We asked for a water carafe never arrived ketchup either. Well, fortunately, he was looking good.

small seaside brewery. servers are overflowed, none has a defined area and all this little world run everywhere. not very fast service and prohibitive prices. a croque gentleman fries to 9 euros (all is frozen) is a shame. Speisekarte ansehen

If I'm in Normandy in June, then I'm here for lunch on the 6th. I love the place for a number of reasons. OK, sometimes it can be slow service, but it is the 6th that I go so it's fair. The menu is simple food, but it is all well done. I've been with parties from four-seven in size, and no one has yet complained about the food standard.

Sitting in elegant comfort in the sunshine, overlooking the huge expanse of golden sands and the gentle blue sea lapping to the shore, it is difficult to imagine the horrors that took place here. Then one looks to the right and sees the monument.... Spectacular location. Limited choice of food (sunday) but the panini we had was good quality.

restaurant facing the sea, in a very touristic site and despite this everything is pitiful: dirty furniture, old, rust.Couleurs criardes, gardeners with agony. null service, neglected and incomplete servers. It is ugly and shameful to propose such an establishment to serve foreign tourists who should not return from such a catastrophic permit. Only asset: no competition on the site! Run. Very good reception. Since the work, the processed parts are clear, bright, the very pleasant colors. The agapes on the menus are very well chosen; home foie gras, small colored vegetables embellish the delicious meat or fish of the region, well cooked, the original sauce is very digestive. homemade dessert is also very good. Moreover the sea view is very pleasant, one would look the feet in the water. .

Home foie gras is very good. meat and fish dishes are also very good and well presented with small vegetables, with tastefully chosen colors, embellish well cooked gutter meat with very good light sauce. dessert home is also succulent and there is research. good restaurant to recommend. the reception is very pleasant

"Out of our 33 days of travel in Europe in 7 different countries, we only had a very few poor dining experiences, and unfortunitely this experience at this restaurant happened to be the worse one.We were driving back to Paris after a day spent at the D Day beaches, and saw this attractive restaurant and decided to pull in and have dinner there. We were seated in a nice dining room. The place was not full at all. Only about 1/3 of the tables were occupied that evening. The young blond lady that waited on us made us feel inferior. It was obvious that she had a position of importance in the restaurant, since she was not only one of the waitresses but she was also the hostess. She spoke French and we worked hard to be gracious and communicate with her in what limited French we knew. We asked for water to drink............since that is really what we wanted that night, and she made a comment to make us feel badly that we only wanted water. The plates were very expensive compared to what we had paid in nicer restaurants downtown in Paris............so we asked about sharing some plates. She understood this, and told us we could not do it and the way she said it made us feel inferier for even asking. (This was the only time in our 33 days in Europe anyone told us we could not share a plate if we did not want a lot of food.)However, she seemed to understand our English quite well when it came to what she did not like such as asking for the water and sharing plates. Somehow she could understand what she wanted to in English. Her attitude was such that after the incident of making us feel inferior for asking for water, we nearly walked out at that point.Everywhere we went in Europe, the waiters or waitresses tried to help us understand the English meaning of their menus. We always tried to use what little bit of the language we knew to help and did that again this night. This lady offered no help. We tried to meet part way in-between with the language, but she was not ready to do that........but yet she was good at understanding our request for water and making us feel inferior and telling us no we could not share a plate and made us feel inferier for even asking. We finally took some guesses and ordered some appetizers since the food was so expensive compared to what we had had in Paris. We hated the food!We were nice to her the whole evening, and I do not know why she treated us this way. They must be used to North American tourists since they are located so close to the D day beaches. This was by far the worse dining experience we had in our 33 days in Europe traveling in 7 different countries.I hate to write this about a place, but we had a miserable experience."
