"We picked Gallo Rosso after wandering through the narrow alley where it’s based and liking the unique set up, with a handful of softly lit tables lining a covered part of the alley. Despite making a booking for the following day we were a bit disappointed to be the only people seated in the starkly lit indoors on a warm evening. Especially as it seemed there were tables outdoors available given away to walk ins who arrived after us. Recommend requesting an outdoor table if visiting in good weather. Minor table issues aside, this is a lovely place and made a refreshing change from other restaurants in Salo, which are quite similar in terms of menu choice. Gallo Rosso has a unique interesting selection, homemade with lots of care and attention. They’re famed for their risotto dishes it’s easy to see why the four cheese version we tried was superb. Service was cheerful and friendly too, and given we were seated almost in the kitchen, very prompt. Would return but check the table situation first for the best possible experience."

Managed to stumble across this lovely restaurant whilst staying in Salò! Food was well presented generous portion size. Very reasonably priced lovely setting under the arched alley.

we arrived without expectations but we were very satisfied, we chose the first tris and could not make better choice. very kind and helpful staff and the atmosphere was wonderful. we will definitely return!

great success coming. fleeing from other more touristic places, we found this place where we were phenomenal and a selection of delicious pasta and risotto with fish. impeccable dining room in a place accessible from parking and the sea. highly recommended Speisekarte ansehen

soft and romantic atmosphere, large and spacious tables. lorenzo waiter of a courtesy and a unique professionalism: alone governs the whole room with a nice sympathy and attention to the now rare customers. Good spaghetti, good risotto, sweets deserve a goto. average prices. we returned 2 times in 2 days and, if we recover to salt we will definitely return again. it is recommended to book.

I returned to this restaurant after 20 years . the formula changed but the substance remains unchanged as 20 years ago. Location always very beautiful and very collected two small rooms one ll entrance the other with round tables. an appetizer a first a second a bottle of wine a coffee water all 78,50 not cheap but is the price in .linea for the lake garda .ottimo service and well cooked dishes
