Iskender Kebab - Speisekarte

In very central rue de France a good and cheap kebab, open also late at night and good enough if you like that kind of food

Loved this Turkish restaurant. Very authentic and lovely staff. Went twice during our stay. Adana and Kofte are a must have!

I visited it last week for a quick bite. I highly recommend the lentil soup (mercimek corbasi) and the Turkish tea. The staff was as friendly as always.

The food was delicious I had no idea what hit me. My daughter who is a very picky eater admitted that she loved the food everything is so fresh. The service was amazing the owner made sure our evening was lovely.

Ate here on our last night at Nice.Had the most expensive dish on the menu - the mixed meat platter. At 22 Euros, it was a little expensive, but it was very filling and came with rice, cous cous, bread and dips.The young waiter was very friendly, and really made us feel at home.This place is literally a 2 minute walk from the Promenade de Anglais. We have two 2.5yrs old young girls and it was a late lunch on Sunday. It was not easy to find a place to eat while we were starving.The waiters are friendly. The food was good and kid friendly. I personally had the plat du jour of "la mandoline" which is an adjacent restaurant under the same management, it was very good. The price is affordable and the portion is good.

Kebab was great, but the blonde waiter who works there was so impolite that he ruined our dinner. He kept yelling at us for no reason and asked us 3 times what do we want to eat after we have ordered. Even the guy making kebabs was annoyed by him. Later he tried to be funny but it was so fake that it made it even worse. I have never been so put off by bad service as tonight. I would go back only if he is not present.

I usually eat at this place whenever I am homesick for döner kebap, and their 5 Euro take-away kebap "sandwich" (I have no idea why it's called sandwich but its basically a wrap) is pretty good - I brought a Greek friend there once and she said it impressed her (Coming from Greece & Turkey, we have high standards for this stuff :) The owner and Mustafa Bey are friendly, as are the other employees working there, and they have great Turkish tea as well!
