This place is really worth the detour. The kitchen is really Mexican and the products used are of quality. special mention for beef cheek and desserts. the wine map is very judicious with original choices. impeccable service friendly.A highly recommend.

As of today, I can tell that this is a notch above any mexican restaurant I've tried in Paris. It's a hidden gem (hard to find) but the cuisine is very tasty, the ambiance is trendy (not Mexican-like looking place) and the service was perfect. I took two "starters" as my main plate plus a dessert and I was full. Try the corn cake to finish. Awesome.

We spent a very good time in this restaurant: tacos are delicate, guacamole has apple tips (it is fresh and original), the wine is good, the frame is very nice and the waitress is pleasant.2 small flats: the service is slow while there is not a big world in the room and the coffee is really, but really not good!In conclusion, it is a little expensive but it is worth it anyway!

isla calaca is a restaurant located in the 9th in a pretty quiet little street. nicely decorated restaurant, good music and nice atmosphere. We loved the :- ' birria de cachete de res' (Ragoût de jouer de beef, onignon braisé, carrots, radis, sauce chile morita, tortillas de maize ); the cheeks were melting and delicious and the - ' pastelito de chocolate mexicano' (oaxaca chocolate color, spicy crumble, vanilla ice, mango) on the other hand, a little just for the accompaniment and the wine price ( beautiful South American wine map ) is a little high ( first price above 25 euros) . service is good child and friendly staff. this restaurant deserves a detour.
